教学策略
*强化学生的语言组织能力。(故事复述、听力复述和简单的写作能力)让学生看图编电话对话、写天气报告、编故事等等,让他们用所学过的知识进行口头描述,既能激发学生的兴趣,又能培养学生的语言组织运用能力。
*体现语言的交际功能。该课的主题是学习一些常见的动词词组,并学会运用一般过去时描述过去某一时间发生的动作,所以设计了过去时的对话和故事,让学生在运用语言的过程中掌握语法知识。
Period 1:
*通过对话和已学过的基本句型学习课文A部分的动词词组并通过对话拓展词汇量。

学生在第二课接触了BE动词的过去时,在这里学生可能会出错,教师以此为契机,带出过去时态。并将动词过去时的一般变化告诉学生,*PAIR WORK(自由问答):

*阅读—质疑—释疑—阅读—操练这三个对话集幽默、语法和功能性于一体,通过学习,不仅让学生学会如何用英语进行电话沟通,还让学生在实际运用中学习一般过去时的语法知识。
给学生提供三个英文情景,要求其两两合作,口头编电话对话。
1:Peter had a cold yesterday. He was absent today. Telephone him and tell him the lessons
you learned today.
2: You are going to Beijing with your father and mother. You have to order three plane tickets.
3: Linda is your good friend. She lives in Haikou.
You live in Beijing. Now it is winter in Beijing.
You want to go to Haikou to visit Linda. Telephone
her and ask the weather in Kaikou.
通过情景交际,为学生提供语言操练的平台,提高学生语言运用能力。为实际生活提供帮助,作到学以致用。

让学生先看动漫整体感知,然后教师设疑,让学生带着问题有目的地观看,然后合作解答问题。最后,让学生将知识重组,用自己的语言解释雨的形成。教师在这个过程中,对一些重难点词句进行解释。
*阅读SNOW,WEATHER REPORT和有 关天气的标志及其英文解释,听 一份有关天气的听力材料。了解 相关的气象知识并能阅读理解和 听懂英文天气预报。
