Unit 5 Look at the monkeys Part A read and write全英文说课稿
Good morning,ladies and gentlemen!
My name is yuerongrong .It’s my pleasure to stand here and show my teaching plan with all of you! Today I’m going to talk about Part A of Unit 5, PEP Primary English, Book 6. Look at the monkeys.read and write . My teaching plan includes four parts.
Part 1.Teaching material (说教材)
The topic of this unit is to describe the animal is doing . In this lesson.It mainly deals with the dialogue about "What is it doing? It s eating bananas. 'What is she doing? She' s jumping." the student in this unit has contact the present tense.therefore,on studying the teaching material and analyzing the regulation of Childers's growing of mind.I put forward the teaching aims according to English new lesson standard.
1.the students can listen ,read and spell the sentences:"What is it doing? It 's eating bananas. 'What is she doing? She' s jumping." and the Ss can use the sentences to ask and answer the questions.
2.The Ss can understand the dialogues and get some informations.
3.the Ss can know that animals are our good friends ,and we should protect them.
Teaching key points:
1.the student can learn the four-skilled sentences:"What is it doing?
It 's eating bananas. 'What is she doing? She' s jumping." and the Ss can use the sentences to ask and answer the questions.
Teaching difficult points:
The Ss can understand and read the sentences :"that elephant is drinking water with its trunk."
Part 2. Teaching and learning methods (说教法与学法)
As we all know, the aims of teaching English in primary school is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. Make sure the students take part in class. Ask and answer in pairs and groups. I’ll use task-based method, communicative method, group cooperate method, TPR method, performance and games methods to teach this lesson. I will let the Ss learn in real situations. In order to interest the Ss,I’ll use some pictures, words and sentence cards, and the multimedia computer as my teaching aids and to help me achieve the aims.
Part 3.Teaching procedures(说教学过程)
Step 1.Warm-up
Before my class,I'll let the Ss act and chant like this : Walking, walking, the elephant is walking.
Then I'll talk with the Ss:
T:Do you love animals ?What animals do you like?
S:rabbit .T:Why? S:It's lovely.ask more Ss
T:Animals are our good friends today let's go to the zoo and have a look'
I'll divide the Ss into two groups: G1 and G2 .If G1 is better.They will get more animals.If G2 is better .they will get more animals.
Step2 presentations
(1)pre-reading
1.PPT show some pictures Let the Ss guess:"what is it? What is it doing?"At the same time I will take out the sentences cards;What is it doing? It 's eating bananas. 'What is she doing? She' s jumping."on the blackboard. Then I'll show the PPT,ask the Ss :What is the elephant dong ?Ss :It's drinking water with its trunk.Then
I 'll do the actions: the elephant drinking water with its trunk .and read this sentence :the elephant\ is drinking water \with its trunk.ask the Ss to follow me.
(2) While-reading
Activity 1:I'll lead in Sarah and Chen Jie.They love animals,too.they also go to the zoo. What are they talking about? Let’s watch the video and circle the right pictures.
In this link,it's very easy for Ss to get the answers.So the Ss can feel the confident for learning this lesson.
Activity2 :I'll let the Ss listen again and find out what animals do they see? The Ss choose the right animals. This task is very easy too.
Activiy3: Let Ss read silently underline what are the animals doing? then finish the chart.4 minutes later,I'll check the answers and show these answers in text.So the Ss can clearly understand that where are the answers from?
Activity 4:Let the Ss read freely and finish the exercises on page 60.
3 minutes later I'll ask the Ss to answer the questions . Activity 5:I'll let the Ss read the dialogue after the tape. Then boys read as Sarah and girls read as Chen Jie.
(3)Post-reading
The Ss can Look at the chart and act the dialogue in groups . 4 minutes later Some Ss act the dialogue in class.
Step3.Consolidation and extension
(1) Continue the passage.
Activity 1:I'll lead in Sarah and Chen Jie.They love animals,too.they also go to the zoo. What are they talking about? Let’s watch the video and circle the right pictures.
