《Feeling Ill》说课稿
1.学情分析:
这个班是本校职教部基础较差的班级,共有35名学生,使用的教材是职校的10181教材。小部分学生们在英语学习方面,有了一些常用词汇、语法及语言技能的积累,能运用一些简单的句子表达自己的思,大部分的学生英语基础不是很好,英语的表达能力较为欠缺,一半以上的学生都不愿意开口讲英文。但学生们对英语课较感兴趣,在上课时能投入到学习英语的状态中去,在老师的指导下积极地课堂活动,产生互动。
2.教材分析:
我所上的这节课是10181教材第一册 Unit 7 Seeing a Doctor 据我班学生的原有基础及学习情况,我制定了以下的教学目标:
知识目标:
(1)Reviewing and mastering the vocabulary.
(2)Helping the students master some expressions dealing with seeing a doctor.
(3)To know how to describe symptoms and give advice to a patient.
能力目标:
Listening comprehension
Vocabulary development
Reading skills
Speaking skills (pronunciation, fluency, applied grammar, public speaking, vocabulary use)
Writing skills ( vocabulary use)
Research skills
Teamwork skills
Leadership skills
Logical thinking skills
情感目标:
To cultivate students’ feeling about seeing a doctor
3.教学设计思想:
在课上我要把老师讲课的时间控制在20%左右,80%的时间用于调动学生的积极性,让学习主动参与大量的、形式多变的语言活动中,并用多媒体充分调动学生的语言表达能力,真正做到以学生为主的课堂的教学。
在教学中把握以下两点:
要精讲多练:
a) 以听说练习为主,以读、写练习为辅
b) 机械练习与有意义练习相结合
以学生为本:
a)将课堂发问权、活动权还给学生
b)学生能办到的事,教师决不代劳
4.教学过程:
Section One: Review vocabulary
1. Class work: Find out the missing letters in the words learned before.
2.Pair work: Have each pair do the crossword. The quickest one without any mistakes will be the winner.
3.Review the useful phrases. Fill in the blanks with the phrases given.
Section Two: Review Text I
1. Use a song to warm up. Help Ss be familiar with the expressions they have learned before.
2. Encourage Ss to make up a new dialogue with their partners using these useful expressions.
Section Three: Text II
1. Listen to the text carefully without looking at the textbook. Try to get the main idea of the text. While listening, keep this question in your mind: What happened to the author? Get a few students share their answers with the class.
2. Ask some students to read the text sentence by sentence. Correct their mistakes in pronunciation, if needed.
3. Explain some language points in the text.
4. Get Ss fill in the blanks. Check the answer.
Last week at work, while I was working at my computer, I suddenly felt rather ill / awful. So I made an appointment by phone to see the doctor. At the doctor’s, the doctor examined me carefully. He listened to my chest and looked in my eyes. After he had finished examining me, he said that there was nothing serious, and that I had just got the flu. He gave me a prescription for some medicine, and told me to stay in bed for a few days. I followed the doctor’s advice, and took the medicine three times a day. Sure enough, the flu cleared up very soon, and I was able to go back to work a couple of days later.
1. Give Ss some clues as following to help them to retell the story.
work at my computer, feel awful, make an appointment, examine me carefully, nothing serious, give a prescription, take the medicine, stay in bed, get well soon.
Section Four: Assignment
1. Recite Text II.

《Feeling Ill》教学设计
I. Lesson Analysis:
This is the second Period of learning Unit Seven. This unit focuses on the expressions about illness, and it is the topic students are interested in, so the aims of this period of lesson are:
1. To review words and expressions about enquiring illnesses.
2. To learn how to describe symptoms.
3. To learn how to give advice to a patient.
II. Teaching Focus:
