一、教学目标
(一)知识
1. 掌握如何使用形容词的比较级比较人、物的个性特征:more than taller shorter thinner longer heavier calmer wilder quieter funnier smarter more athletic more popular twin both be good at
2. 掌握如何比较身边的事物并选择最佳答案。
3. 掌握形容词比较级和最高级的用法。
(二)能力
能应用形容词比较级对身边人物和事物做出对比。

四、教学过程
Step 1 lead in
1. Game 1
Let’s play a game. Let’s say some opposites with the actions.
If I say “big”, you say “small”, OK?
(short, long, tall, short, strong, weak, young, old)
设计思路:课前师生进行日常会话,做“说反义词”的游戏,以此创设轻松和愉快的学习氛围,并吸引学生的注意力,然后以游戏中复习过的形容词为新课做准备。
2. Game 2: who is he ?
1> 请3位学生走上讲台,老师说两到三句话,让学生猜猜老师说的是谁?
(猜物游戏也可)
He is the tallest in these three students.
He is not tall but fatter than the other two students .
....
设计意图:以游戏的形式逐渐导入比较级和最高级,在游戏过程中理解比较级和最高的意义和用法。教师简单讲解形容词比较级的构成。老师在说的时候把重点句子和单词写在黑板上,如: taller, fatter ....

2. 不规则

3. 句型结构:A+V+比较级+than+B

设计意图:在学完理论之后,给出3个较简单的单词来练习比较级和最高级的变化和句型结构
