典范英语7教案
教学设计说明：
本课内容选材于《典范英语》（Good English）原名《牛津阅读树》（Oxford Reading Tree）系列丛书第七级，第十本—Jem Stone Genie—the Crash 《精灵简姆斯通撞击事件》，作者是英国作家Julie Sykes。上课内容是小说的第二第三章节。小说的这两章讲述了魔法学校的学生Jem，Pebble和 Pearl 在练习飞毯飞行时互不相让导致撞击事件，紧接着Jem为了防止坠落违反校规使用咒语把老师变成了蜘蛛，最后找到了蜘蛛纠正了错误的故事。希望通过本课时的教学，让学生能够读懂故事，理解文中主人公的性格特点，培养学生从文章中获取细节信息的能力。并通过本课的学习激发学生对小说阅读的兴趣，激发学生参与英语朗读活动的热情。
教学目标：
1 能够理解小说的情节。
2 在课前学生已阅读过小说的基础上，通过默读，分角色朗读等手段，培养学生理解信息的能力，在理解小说内容的基础上对人物性格进行分析，由此让学生认识到诚实做人，对人礼貌的重要性。
教学过程：
1 读前环节：
带读生词，并且展示生词所在的句子，要求学生跟读，并且根据语境猜测词语的意思。然后让学生在根据上下文在黑板上选取生词的意思。此环节解决了学生在文章阅读的过程中遇到的生词的问题，并且培养学生用简单的英文解释生词的习惯。
2 阅读理解环节：
1）首先展示六幅图片，要求学生根据故事情节的发展为其排序。此环节在学生已经阅读过故事，对故事情节有大致了解的基础上进行信息的呈现。
2）分角色朗读。要求学生分别扮演文中的主要人物和旁白，进行故事的分角色朗读。此环节主要体现“语感阅读”的特色，要求学生通过朗读体现，并表现出文中人物的情绪，性格。同时对文章的细节进行理解。
3）对文章的进行再次阅读，以及对具体图片进行描述，在阅读过程中更加注意细节，以更加了解故事的发展脉络。
3. 读后环节：
在这部分以问答形式要求学生理解Pearl不受人欢迎的原因，要求学生概括Pearl的性格以及体现性格的举动，从而让学生认识到诚实做人，礼貌待人的重要性。描述Miss Genius被找到的经过，加深学生对细节的理解。
4. 作业布置环节：
要求学生对故事进行复述。第一为了让学生能够对故事内容更加了解，第二是为了让学生锻炼口语，增加学生操练口语的机会，并且激发学生的表现欲，提高对学习英语的热情。
