一 教学内容
本课是PEP小学英语四年级下册Unit 6 At a farm 中的第三课时。
二 教材分析
本节课是在已经学习动物的基础上,继续深入学习跟农场有关的动物单词,进一步学习句型Are they ducks? No,they aren't.
三 教学目标
1.识目标
(1)读写cat, rabbit, pig, duck, dog 等单词。
(2)读写句子Are they ducks? No, theu aren't.
2 .力目标
(1)培养学生在一定的语境中运用所学语言进行交际的能力。
(2)培养学生的观察力和想象力。
3.情感目标
培养学生爱护动物和欣赏大自然的情感。
四 教学重难点
1 重点:学生能准确地理解图和对话,并掌握cat, rabbit, pig, duck, dog 等单词以及句型Are they ducks? No, theu aren't.的拼写。
2 难点:字母i读音规律和名词的复数形式。
五 学情分析
四年级的学生活泼好动,充满想象力,有一定的语音基础,并初步形成了自己的价值观和审美能力。他们乐于接受挑战性的任务,在各类活动中感知语言,习得语言。学生在三年级已初步掌握了用简单的语言介绍自己喜欢的动物,本节课继续学习有关动物的单词和句型。

七 教学过程
(1)Warm up
1.greetings with students.
T: Hello, boys and girls. Today I'm your new English teacher. Nice to meet you all.
Ss:Nice to meet you,too.
师生谈话活动,复习How many ...can you see?
T: What's the weather like today?
S1: It's ...
T: What's this ?
S2: It's a pencil.
T: How many pencils do you have?
S2: I have ;;;
T: How many teachers can you see?
S3: I can see ...
游戏:I have a small game,Let's play together,OK?Listen carefully,which animal is it?复习上节课所学内容。[设计意图:与学生交谈,将学生带入英语学习的环境,通过听声音猜动物的游戏,充分调动学生学习英语的积极性]
(2)Presentation
在游戏的最后播放猫的叫声,引出cat 一词,教读并书写。出示课件,师问:What's this ?生答:It's a cat.出现很多猫,师:What are these?生答:They're cats.师接着问:How many cats can you see?生答:I can see...
Do you know what color is the cat's eye?
Ss say it's blue.And do you know whose eye is red? Ss say it's rabbit.由此引出rabbit教读并书写。出示课件,师问:What are these?
生答:They're rabbits.
师问:How many rabbits can you see
生答:I can see...
师问:Are they cats?
生答:No, they aren't. They're rabbits.
通过图片展示远地方的动物,问学生:What's that?学生看的不是很清楚,回答不一定时,慢慢把图片拉近,问What's this?生答: It's a duck. 再把图片拉远,问:What's that?生答: It's a duck.教读并书写。通过图片展示让学生数一数,问:How many ducks can you see? 生会想一想,答:I can see...
通过实物教学dog和pig.
把实物放进一个书包里,师做示范,摸出一个duck ,问:What's it?生答: It's a duck.再拿出两个dogs,师问:What are they? 生答: They're ducks. 再拿出两个Dogs 师问:What are they? 生答They're dogs.师问: Are they ducks? 生答:No, they aren't.教学并板书。
看图片,听录音,回答问题。
听录音,跟读课文,小组内操练并展示
Practice
③ 课件快速闪过,让学生猜动物。
④ 拿出一个包,里面装满动物,让一个学生摸,其他同学猜出是什么动物。
(4)Homework
听录音跟读课文。
抄写四会单词和句子。
