教学流程
一、 Warm- up
1. Greeting
2. Say a chant: I say “Yes”, you say “NO”
3. Quick answer to review the present continuous tense: She is doing~~.\ He is doing~.
4. 图片导出:What are they doing? They are doing~~~.教授巩固。

二、 Presentation
1. 师生对话引出:sport What is your favorite sport?
2. Encourage students to ask: What is your favorite sport, Miss Yu?
Then tell them: football.
3. Teaching new word: football play football
4. Present the video about football match and ask: What are they doing? They are playing football.
5. Teach the ping-pong as above.
6. Show a pictures about Yao Ming and ask: Can he play ping-pong? Can he play football? He can play basketball. Then teach new word: basketball playing basketball.
7. Enjoy the video about basketball and say good shoot.
8. Play a basketball game: pass the ball to the students and say catch. Then ask students to pass the ball back .In this process two new words are taught: catch and pass.
9. Play a card game to consolidate.
三、Text learning
1. Play the video and encourage students to imitate it.
2. Do the exercise.
四、Extension
Do a survey. Ask the students in your group "What's your favorite sport?" Then fill in the chart.
三、 Homework
1.听录音跟读课文五遍。

一、教学目标:

3.学习策略目标:了解学生的学习风格,积极引导学生养成良好的学习习惯,大胆开口,喜欢与人合作交流,在活动中学,在游戏、生活中用。
4、能力目标:提高学生的英语语感,和运用本课句型进行实际对话的能力。
5、情感目标:营造民主和谐的课堂教学氛围,让学生能够在老师的引导下进行英语交流。
6、设计理念:注重创建切合学生生活习惯的语言应用情境,通过适当的交际性、互动性引导巩固学生所学。引导学生在运用语言中学习语言,穿插听、说、读、写的能力训练,做到在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言(为用而学,在用中学,学了就用),从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

设计意图:1.师生共随欢快的音乐做律动,既能活跃课堂气氛,调动学生参与活动的积极性也为教学做好铺垫。2.利用所以学旧知加以引导出新知。轻松过渡

设计意图:
在前面教学环节的铺垫、辅助下,学生以对这节课教学的话题“sport”有了较为深刻的理解,对常见的运动的用英语进行表达。再此基础上对所学内容作进一步推进,引入新知football and ping-pong学生较易接受,课堂教学效益高。

设计意图:可以帮助学生总结、归纳语篇的主要内容,促进学生对语篇的理解,同时,表格比选择体现学生更多的自主性。表格比填空更有针对性也降低了难度,所以填完表格后通过师生、生生根据表格内容的问答进一步理解语篇,同时对语篇中的主要句型作进一步操练。
