Unit 10 Revision教案
The first period
A. Look at the plants. What will happen to them? Talk to your partner.
1. Show Transparency. Tell the pupils to look at the four plants carefully.
2. Explain that the four plants are growing under different conditions. Ask the pupils to think about what will happen to the plants.
3. In pairs the pupils talk about what will happen to the four plants and what they need to grow.
4. Ask individual pupils to read aloud the sentences and then check the answers with the class.
B. Jill is writing about festivals. Match and complete the sentences.
1. Show Transparency. Tell the pupils to look at the pictures that represent different festivals.
2. Ask the pupils to match the festival artwork with the correct seasons.
3. Tell the pupils to read the sentences at the bottom of the page. Explain that Jill is writing about her favourite festivals. Ask the pupils to complete the sentences.
4. Use Transparency to check the pupils’ answers.
The second period
C. Help the tourist. Look and say.
1. Show transparency. Explain to the pupils that the tourist wants to find the locations of a few places. Tell the pupils to read the places’ names and look at the map.
2. In pairs the pupils role-play the tourist and the girl ask and answer questions about the locations of the places.
3. Ask the pupils to switch roles and ask about other places on the map.
D. Bob is moving to a new house. Listen and write a tick or a cross in each box.
1. Play the Pupil’s Book Cassette. Show Transparency. Explain that Bob is moving to a new house and he is talking with his friend about it.
2. Tell the pupils to listen to the cassette and find out what Bob’s new house has according to the conversation. Ask the pupils to put a tick or a cross in the correct box.
3. Tell the pupils to circle Bob’s new room at the bottom of the page.
4. Use Transparency to check the pupils’ answers.
