Aims:
1. Listen, say and read the sentences: What’s your hobby? I like collecting stamps.
2. Listen, say, read and write the phrases: collecting stamps, riding a bike, diving, playing the violin, and making kites.
Main points: How to add “ing” ?
Difficult points: riding, diving, making.
Preparations:
录音带、机,单词卡片等。

1. Warm-up: Let’s sing: “I love Going Hiking”.
2. Preview: Game: Roll the snowball.

与一名学生示范,教师问:What’s your hobby? 学生回答:Swimming. What about you? 教师回答后示范填写Let’s start部分的表格。同桌或前后两名学生之间进行问答、填表。
Let’s learn
A.教师边做动作边说自己的业余爱好,“I like playing the violin. What is your hobby? 引导学生回答:I like …. 教师板书,What’s you hobby? I like playing the violin. 指导学生拼读:hobby, playing the violin并进行问答操练。
B. T 拿出集邮册,并取一张邮票,What’s this? 引导学生回答:It’s a stamp. T板书stamp并带读。I like collecting stamps. Let students learn “collecting stamps”, and say “I like collecting stamp.
C. Teacher do the action: ride a bike, and ask: What am I doing? Let the students guess: You are … T: Yes, I am riding a bike. I like riding a bike. And tell how to add “ing”.
D. Show a kite: What’s this? It’s a kite. Show two kites. I like flying kites. I can make kites; I like making kites, too. Let them learn “making kites”.
E. Show the card: driving. Ask: What is he doing? He’s driving. Bb: driving.
F. Clap hands and say: What is your hobby? What is your hobby? Playing, playing. I like playing the violin. Collecting, collecting, I like collecting stamps. Riding, riding, I like riding a bike. Making, making, I like making kites. Diving, diving, I like diving.
G. Listen to the tape and practice: What’s your hobby? I like ….
H. Game: Guess: You like … Yes/No, I like ….

一、在呈现会话内容时,教师注意分散难点,把它分两部分教授,然后合二为一,并善于创设情景,让学生在情景中理解并掌握会话内容。
二、善于借助动作,把难点go straight on, turn right等,让学生通过情景理解其意思,使学生学得轻松愉快,增强了教学效果。

Aims:

2. 能够认读Pronunciation部分的音标,并能读出例词。

2、了解一些有关英语信封书写的知识。
3、能够听懂、会唱歌曲 “My Pen Pel”.

Main point:阅读Let’s read中的两封电子邮件。
Difficult point:理解、认读句子My twin sister Ann likes drawing pictures and making kites. We look the same, but we don’t like the same things. Tell me something about you.
Preparation:
录音带、机、信封、单词卡。
教学步骤:

2. Preview
A. Listen to A Let’s learn and Let’s talk, and then follow the tape.

3. Presentation
Let’s read
A. Let the students remember the names of some Chinese children. And show the picture: “Look at the two girls, this girl has long hair. That girl has long hair, too. This girl has big eyes. That girl has big eyes, too. They look the same. What is she doing? She is drawing pictures. What about the other girl? What is she doing? She is writing an e-mail. What are their hobbies? Now let’s read an e-mail.” Then let the students open books and read the first e-mail carefully.
B. Listen to the tape of the first e-mail. Then read once. And say out if these sentences true or faults.
①Liu Yun is Alice’s new pen pal.
②Alice likes swimming, diving and making kites.
③Alice’s twin sister Ann likes drawing pictures.
C. T: “We all know Liu Yun is Alice’s friend now. Liu Yun writes an e-mail to Alice. Let’s read her reply. Please read the mail and tell me something about Liu Yun.” Let the students open books and read the second e-mail. After that, let them try to say the main ideas of the e-mail.
D. Listen and follow the tape. Then finish “Answer the questions”, and listen again to check the answer.
E. Introduce the form of an English e-mail.

教师带读Good to know中有关英语信封各部分名称的词汇,让学生说说含义,然后出示一个汉语信封与一个英语信封,让学生进行比较。教师介绍一些相关的知识。

1、能够听、说、读、写五个动词的第三人称单数形式:lives, teaches, goes, watches, reads.
2、能够听、说、认读句子:Does your pen pal live in Shanghai? No, he doesn’t. He lives in Beijing.
3、能够听懂、说唱歌谣“Tell me about your pen pal”.
4、能够听懂、理解story time中的故事。
Main and difficult points:

Let the students answer: No, it doesn’t. It lives in rivers. Then show other pictures: Does …live in …? Let them answer. Teacher writes on the Bb: Does your pen pal live in Shanghai? No, he doesn’t. He lives in Beijing. And teach the word “live”.
B. To learn “teach”. T says: I teach English, does Mr. … teach English, too? Let them answer: No, he doesn’t. He teaches …. Bb: teaches, then ask and answer with the other teachers.
C. T: I go to school by… How do you go to school? How does your father go to work? Does he goes to work by…? Bb: goes to work. And teach “watches” and “reads” by this way. 引导学生比较动词原形有其第三人称单数形式,并用这两种形式造句加深印象,让学生在比较中逐步掌握。

Let’s read.
