2. Act out
Play a game : Simon says
Divide the children into two groups and have one group give the command and the other group respond with the correct action . Then have the groups change roles .Then we can read it together.

What can you say in the picture and what should we say
Listen to the tape and write the number
Listen and repeat
Listen and check

通过熟练的读单词,使学生对字母的发音有一定的认识,并能够正确的读出

Introduce /a/
Write the a on the blackboard , ask student say two words about A ,then tell them the A have two
sounds , one is long ,another one is shout . then read the Uncle Booky’s blackboard .
2. Sounds and letters
Draw the children’s attention to the top of the page \
Play the tape for apple ,bag . Ask “Do these words have a short /a/sound or a long /a/ sounds ”
Play the tape again and have the children say the words lound
Repeat the procedure for the long /a/ words
3. Listen for /a/
Look at the book , ask student read it
Tell them one words is difficult, let’s listen and check it
Listen to the tape
Play the tape again , this time the children check the word that has a difficulty /a/ sounds
Repeat the procedure for the second row
4. Read with Uncle Booky
Look at the words
Listen and repeat
5. Model the structures
Read the cards , put the card “Don’t ”” No ” on the blackboard
Ask student to write the word on a paper , then ask one student to come here and act out , “what does she do ”
Let’s read together
6. Touch and say
Look at the picture and say some sign
Homework
Write the blackboard for two times

Look at the sign and read it
Ask student to trace it
Take out the exercise book and write the words on the book
3. Think and write
Look at the picture “where is it ”
Tell the children to work in groups and write signs for each picture
Repeat the procedure for other pictures
Read it
4. Let’s chant
Ask children what we should do when crossing a street . we should say “look right ” “look left ” from the children
Tell them we are going to learn a rhyme about crossing street
Read the rhyme to the children , pointing to left and right
Play the tape for the whole rhyme , Have children listen and do the action
Play the tape again and have children join in ,encouraging them to hum or clap with rhyme
