 Hello, everyone! My name is . I come from Primary School. Today I am very pleasure to be standing here and talking about Part A of Unit Four, PEP Primary English , Book Six. This lesson includes one part:Read and write.
My contents consist of nine parts.
First, saying that learning materials. This lesson’s theme is “What are you doing ?”And around this topic to talk about the content of answering the phone. To enable the students to learn more about phone terms. And allow the students to simply say a telephone conversation.
Second, I will say analysis of the students.
The students in Grade Five have learned English for several years. But their vocabularies are limited. They still lack some learning ways.
Third, I will say learning methods.
As we all know,the main instructional aims of learning English in Primary School is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson I will mainly use “Task-based”teaching method. That is to say ,I will let the students learn in real situations. For example, I will play the guessing game and have a competition with the students.With the help of CAI, to present the dialogue and so on. In short, let the students be interested in learning English.
Fourth, saying that learning objectives.
No.1:Learning aims:can listen、speak、read and write the sentence patterns:This is Zhang Peng. What are you doing? I am doing the dishes/ reading a book. And can use the sentence pattern“What are you doing ? I am …”to call, can ask and answer.
No.2:Ability aims:To develop the students’ abilities of listening and speaking. And improve the ability to communicate in English. Encourage the students to bold to speak English.
No.3:Emotion aims:Let the students know when making a call to respect other people.And enable the students love life ,love labour, love their parents and help them do something.
Fifth, learning important points and difficult points.
The learning important points is to tell the students to remember the sentence“This is…”. It is a common telephone terms.And can write the four skill sentences.
The learning difficult points is to understand and read the sentence “Do you want to go to the Children’s Center?”.
Sixth, the learning process.
Step 1:Revesion time
1. a. Free talk: Hello!What do you do on the weekend ?
Which season do you like best ? Let the students answer freely.
Divide the students into groups of four children to have a comepitition.
If the group ia right, the children will get an apple or an orange.
b. With the help of CAI, play a guessing game. Show four pictures and use the sentence “What is _____doing ? ask ,let students answer. What is the horse doing ? The horse is _______
Step 2:Learning time
a. Invite two good friends :Zhangpeng and John. Draw Zhang Peng on the white board,let students pay attention to some phone terms.Let students watch cartoons. And guess what are they doing? Show a question “Where will ZhangPeng and John go?____ Solve the difficult points , the Children’s center. Show a picture ,let the students say “What are they doing ?”They are singing /dancing…let students know the meaning of Children’s center.Then learn the sentence:Do you want to go to the Children’s center?
Step 3:Practice time
Show the dialogue and let a little teacher lead the whole class to read the dialogue . then practice in boys and girls. Or Practice in groups.
Step 4:Show time
a. Show 杨幂和姚明answering the phone with them.
b. Write the dialogue of the phone with Mr tiger and Mr turtle.
Step 5:Summary and homework
Let student love life,love labour. Help your parents do something ,and get pleasure to them .Then do these homework.
a. Read “Read and write” with your partner.
b.Change these words in apples or oranges into ing form.
c. Give your parents or friends a call.
