教材分析
Unit1是本模块的第一课时听说课,根据《新标准》英语教材的安排,每模块的第一单元为听说课训练,以培养学生的听说能力为主,了解信息,丰富知识,获得乐趣,培养和发展听说技能。本单元的主要教学内容以“Travel”为话题,通过听、读、说训练,初步学习谈论旅行的方法。
学生分析
初三学生已经掌握了一定的词汇和语法,具有一定的听说能力,理解能力和表达能力,谈旅行是学生感兴趣的话题,本单元的学习正是通过该话题的讨论,初步学习谈论旅行的方法。

1、知识与能力目标:
To understand the conversation with regard to "travel".
 To talk about one's holiday and new term.
 To improve listening and speaking ability.

目的:以学生的兴趣为出发点,进行提问,激发学生的好奇心,使学生带着愉快的心情进入课堂,并学习新单词,为口语练习做铺垫。

Encourage students to talk about them and make a conversation in pairs with the help of the example sentences.
目的:学习或复习一些交通工具的表达方式,练习口语交际能力。
