六、教学步骤:
一)复习
1.问候
2.唱“AS I WAS GOING DOWN THE STREET”
3.用问答操练的形式复习单词waitress,businesswoman,clerk和cashier.例如,教师举起词汇卡片提问:What is he/she? Is he/she a____or a____?
4.作游戏”CHARADES”(变化形式)
让一些自告奋勇的学生分别模仿他们能用英语说出的职业(可以是任何职业)。让全班猜这种职业,并用英语说出。如果大家都猜不出,表演者自己给出答案(I’m a________.)。
二)学习新课
1.Mall, grocery store
(1)打《开教科书》:L13 N1.
讨论这些照片并问学生们是否能用英语说出图画上有些东西的名字(如:shop,man,woman,clerk,vegetabies,fruit).边指照片边和学生一起读几遍单词mall和procery store.
(2)播放录音,让学生看书跟读。
Where does a___work? A____works in a____.
作游戏“WHISPER”(变化形式)。
告诉学生他们将做一个有关职业的游戏。教师在某人的耳边轻声说出某种职业,这个人必须走到他或她的“工作地点”(教室里相应的图表下)然后模仿这种职业的动作。
带领学生就每种职业进行对话:
Teacher:I’m a teacher./work in a school.(指者一个表演示)
He/she is a___.He/she work in a___.Say it,piease,class.
Class:He/she is a___.He/she work in a____.
Teacher:What is he/she?
Class:He/she work in a____
Teacher:Very good! A___work in a___.Say it,piease,class.
Class:A___work in a____.
Teacher:Where does a___work?
Class:A___work in a____.
引导每个正在“从事某种职业”的表演者做如下对话:
Teacher:(对着一个表演者)What are you?
Student:I am a___.
Teacher:Where do you work?
Student: In a____.
示范并板书:Where does a___work? A___work in a____.
给学生们示范如何做此结构中的单词替换。
④打开:《教科书》L13 N2.放录音,让学生看书跟读
⑤编对话:
在黑板上写下。Businessman, Businesswoman, waiter, waitress,teacher,clerk,和cashier.让学生们从黑板上选择一种职业,然后在教室里走来走去,向其他同学介绍自己。告诉学生使用的短语:
I’m a____./work in a____.
Where do you work?
Hello.My name is____.
Nice to meet you!
What’s your name?
How are you?
Good-bye. See you latter.
三、作《活动手册》L13 N1,2
第一题,要求学生们在每副图画下写出正确的单词,然后给图画配对。
第二题,要求学生填空完成每个句子,然后再根据句意画一副图画。
