Instructional Design for Teaching (4B Unit 7 At a snack bar) I . Teaching Aims 1. To develop Ss’ basic skills of listening, speaking, reading. 2. To enable the Ss to understand and speak the words: pies, hamburgers, chips, noodles, sweets, sandwiches Sentence structures: What would you like ? Anything else ? 3. To enable the Ss to use the new words and sentence structures in the real situation. 4. To encourage Ss to practice, participate and co-operate in the classroom activities.
II. Key points 1. To help Ss to recognize the food: pies, hamburgers, chips, noodles, sweets, sandwiches. 2. To enable them to study in group and co-operate skillfully.
III. Difficult points To enable Ss to recognize the singular form and the prolar form of the food.
IV. Teaching Approaches I think the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupil’s basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson, I’ll mainly use “ Task- based ”
