高一英语必修1 Unit 1 Friendship Reading (教学设计)
一、教学内容分析
(一)知识背景及新课标、新教材
• 1、本单元围绕友谊这一话题开展听、说、读、写多种教学活动在本单元中涉及到的话题有:人们为什么要交朋友,如何交朋友,怎样处理朋友的关系,生活在二战时期的安妮是如何渴望朋友,如何与朋友相处的等。学生从初中到高中,来到一个新的学校,同学彼此陌生,不免想起老同学,老朋友。这样的话题正好能引起学生的兴趣,而且本课的内容的启发性和实用性都很强,能使学生在学中用,在用中学,对综合提高学生的听说读写能力有较好的促进作用。
• 本单元以话题为中心呈现听说读写的材料和学习任务

• 2、Reading部分承载着整个单元中最重要的语言和文化信息,也是教师在整个教学过程中需要重点处理的部分。本文讲述了犹太女孩安妮为躲避纳粹的迫害而藏身于小阁楼中,并把日记当作自己的朋友,通过写日记来表达自己孤独和郁闷的心情。通过阅读这篇课文,学生不仅要进行阅读技能的训练,学习一些新的词汇和短语的表达方法,还要去阅读过程中学习并欣赏英语语音的美感,感受主人公乐观自信的人生态度,纯洁美丽的心灵。
(二)教学目标
英语教学大纲规定,高中英语教学应该通过听说读写的训练,使学生获得英语基础知识和运用英语的能力,激发学生的学习兴趣,为进一步学习打下良好的基础。因此我制定以下教学目标:
• 1、知识与技能: ①学习一些重要的新单词,短语和句式,如go through, make+o+n作宾补 I wonder whether/if一句式等 ②学会用英语谈论友谊
2、过程与方法:通过课堂教学培养学生的阅读能力并学会用一些阅读技能,如guessing key sentences ,skimming ,scanning 等.另外,通过谈论朋友和友谊,既锻炼学生的语言运用能力,又培养了学生发现问题、思考问题、解决问题的能力。
• 3、情感态度和价值观:通过本节阅读课,使学生初步学会欣赏英语语言的美感、然后讨论相关话题使学生意识到友谊的重要性,并通过阅读这篇短文学会珍惜友谊。
(三)教学重点和难点
• 1、培养学生的阅读技能,学会欣赏文学作品
• 2、让学生在语境中学习并掌握文章中的词汇和短语
• 3、提高学生的阅读技能(skimming, scanning)
(四)教具
本课利用录音机、投影仪等辅助设备,激发学生的学习兴趣,调动他们的积极性,为展开话题提供丰富的材料,使教学收到事半功倍的效果。
二、学生情况分析
本单元是高一英语的第一单元,也是学生学习高中英语的开端,学生基础参差不齐,教学内容难度不宜过大,难度应从易到难。上课时,教师要利用多媒体努力营造一种轻松活泼的的氛围,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生合作学习的意识,提高学生自主学习的能力;同时,开展一些英语活动,增强学生的参与意识与言语交际能力。
三、教学方法
在新课程背景下,教师要成为学生学习的促进者组织者和合作者。根据以上学情分析,我选择了下面三种教学方法:
• 1、任务型教学 ( task-based learning)
• 2、合作学习 ( cooperation)
• 3、讨论 (discussion)

设计意图:通过讲述关于第二次世界大战历史背景知识,让学生对德国纳粹分子犹太人迫害有所了解,从而对本节所学内容更加容易了解和接受。

Tourism wasn’t as important as it is today. In the past, only people with a good deal of money could travel on holidays to other countries. More people travel today than in the past because there is a growing middle class in many parts of the world; that is to say, people now have more money for travel. Special plane fares(费用) for tourists make travel less expensive and more attractive than ever before. One person doesn’t travel for the same reason as another. But most people enjoy seeing countries that are different from their own. They also like to meet new people and to taste new food.

设计意图:教师通过讲解如何运用跳读或略读等阅读技能,然后让学生完成这些课外阅读材料以达到巩固本节所学这些阅读技能的目的。
Discussion:
如果你必须像安妮一样和家人躲在狭小的空间里生活,你会怎么做?
设计意图——通过讨论让学生更能感受到安妮对自由生活的向往,对大自然的热爱。对友情的渴望,通过反思自身的生存状态,他们会懂得珍惜生命,珍惜生活中美好的点点滴滴,并保持乐观向上的生活态度。
五、总结与反思
从高一开始,我们就应该让学生懂得阅读一篇文章必须经历几个步骤,如pre-reading、skimming, scanning, post-reading等。这样阅读得以在正确的轨道上进行。也就是说,阅读重在过程,而不能只看结果。英文阅读是一个长期复杂的训练过程。高中阶段的英语阅读能力的教学应做长远计划,从高一开始,从基础抓起,不能等到高考前再进行突击性强化。
六、板书设计
为了浓缩教学内容,使学生对新课内容能一目了然,印象深刻,我采用纲目式设计板书,中间是阅读文章的标题,左侧列出头脑风暴导入问题,右侧列出各个段落大意。
