《Unit 16 Find a job(Integrating skills)》说课稿
引言:在英语教学中落实新课程标准,具体到英语学科就是整合发展学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等五个方面的素养,培养学生综合语言运用能力,开展课堂探究是培养学生综合语言运用能力的最佳途径,所以我在教学设计中,尽量进行情景创设,培养学生探究、处理阅题能力。
一、教学内容分析
㈠知识背景
本单元以Finding jobs为话题,旨在通过本单元教学,使学生正确认识自我并懂得要成就一项事业,实现人生理想,需要付出不懈的努力;能灵活运用所学知识,描述社会上不同职业,描述自己的特长及未来职业理想;能根据一些建议和要求,表达自己的优势,阐述求职理由,并能写出一封成功的求职信,这是高三语篇学习的最后一课时,高三学生马上面临毕业,上大学或找工作等问题,所以本单元学习具有时代性,非常贴近生活,并对其有实际的指导意义。
㈡教学重难点
1、通过阅读,培养学生在有限的时间中寻找具体信息并进行概括的能力。
2、掌握求职信的写作技巧,并能正确书写一封求职信。
3、锻炼学生笔头表达能力。
4、掌握课文中的语言学习要点。
二、三维教学目标
㈠知识技能
1、学会正确书写求职信
2、学习一些单词、短语,如hold back等
㈡情感态度
1、让学生了解本单元的总体学习目标,以激发学习积极性
2、通过描述他们的特长及未来的职业理想,激发他们的学习动力
3、通过合作学习,培养学生相互学习、相互帮助的团队精神
㈢学习策略
1、认知策略:通过hold back的学习,掌握相关词组,如hold up,hold on,send up等。
2、交际策略:通过阅读,培养他们寻找有效信息,再经过语言整合进行概括的能力。
3、资源策略:让学生通过本单元学习明白任何一项职业理想的实现,都要付出不懈的努力。
㈣文化意识
了解公司、企业对招聘人才的一些要求和一封正确求职信的书写,使他们认识到自己的优缺点,为今后的求职生涯做好准备。
三、具体教学步骤
㈠导入(Lead-in)通过一组表演,旨在吸引学生的注意力,自然切入本文主题,并以一问题,引导学生思考,活跃思维。
㈡阅读(Reading)
1、在有限的时间里归纳文章提出的Dos Don’ts
2、归纳本文的主旨大意。(培养他们的寻找具体信息并进行归纳的综合能力,提高阅读技巧)
3、处理语言点
㈢练习(Practice)
运用以上所学对两篇范文进行比较学习,小组讨论,得出两篇文章的优缺点,培养学生运用语言知识能力和分析能力,并锻炼他们口语。
㈣写作(Writing)
呈现一篇范文,让他们明白正确的求职信书写规范,然后以练习的形式,让他们结合自身写一封求职信,锻炼他们笔头写作能力,并对所学知识进行运用和巩固。

Teaching Aims
1、To improve their ability of surfing details and practise the reading skills
2、To make sure they understand how to apply for a job and how to fill in the“Job Application Form”
3、Practice writing skill
4、Master the language points in it.
Teaching Important Points:
Improve the students reading and writing abilities and make sure they know how to write an application.
Teaching Difficult Points:
How to improve their writing ability.
Teaching Aids: a tape recorder the multimedia,some Application Forms
Lesson Procedures
Step 1. Lead-in
(Ask 2 students to present a dialog between an interviewer and applicant)
A: What are they doing?
S:
T: Whenever you graduated from middle school or college, you will face the problem of job hunting. Now think about what questions the employer may ask and when in what’s are dos and don’ts an interview.(Collect answers from students).
Why are you applying for the job?
What’s your career goals?
What personal characteristics do you have that show you will be successful in this profession?
T: Yes. How you behave may decide whether you will be employed or not! Now let us open your books and look at what advice the expect give us.
Step 2. Reading
㈠Please go through the text quickly and make a list of“Dos and Don’ts ”mentioned in the text.
Present it.
Dos Don’ts
1、do research and show you ability 1.hold back
2、do haunts and modest 2. send an application form with mistakes
3、make the application form
clear and easy to read
4、make the personal statement 3.make the statement too general
interesting and original
㈡Listen to the tape and repeat with it, while listening, think about “what the text mainly tell of us?”
Now please summarize what the text mainly tell use
Get the answers from students, then present it.
Suggest answers: We have learned from the passage about the frequently asked questions in an interview and how to write a good personal statement
Or (we have known were about what should be dire when writing a statement and what kind of statement is more impressive and persuasive.)
㈢Do you have any difficulties in the text?(deal with language points in it) hold back
Step 3. Practice.
Now let’s read two statements from two applications in page 144. Use what we’ve learnt above to determine which is better and which one can create a better impress in.
And why?
(You can discuss with your partner)
Allow them some time to do it. Then ask then to point out the advantages and disadvantages in it.
Step 4. Writing
There is a formal “Job Application Form”
Now combining your own state, fill in the application forms. And after I will ask some to present them.(instruct them how to do it)
(Allow them some time, then present the work of some of them)
Step 5. Summary Homework
Today we’ve learnt how to do personnel statement and some “Dos and Dont’s ” in it. And we must pay attention to it when writing an application or interviewed. After class read the passage and fill in the application form translate the sentences in page 272. That’s all.
