一、 说教材：
本节是七年级牛津英语下册第二个模块第三单元的阅读课：阅读一篇关于一个盲人和他的导盲犬从火灾中互助逃生的故事。
二、 说教学目标
通过阅读初步接触反身代词和方位介词这两个语法现象，为语法学习做准备，同时加深了解动物是人类最好的朋友。
三、 说重难点
重点就是通过阅读初步接触反身代词和方位介词这两个语法现象，为语法学习做准备，同时加深了解动物是人类最好的朋友。
难点就是学生不理解的词汇和短语较多。
四、说教法
采用引导学生自主学习的方法，先引导学生阅读文章，再引导学生如何在文章中猜测词意。
五、说学法：
学会辨识词组，同时通过图书馆、网络、广播、电视等渠道获得更多有关动物的信息，扩展知识面。
六、说教学过程
Step I Pre-reading
Read the story aloud and review the meaning of the story.
Step II While-reading
Read the story carefully and underline some words and expressions you don’t understand.
Step III Post-reading
1. Ask students to finish C1,C2, learn to use those new words and espressions.
2. Read aloud the story, and try to retell the story.
3. Read another story about a friendly dolphin and put the pictures in the correcct order on page 40.
