Hello, everyone. I’m glad to be here to present my lesson . Today the teaching material is unit 8 sectionA 1a-2c in book two in grade 6. My presentation can be divided into four parts.
Part One Analysis of the Teaching Material
The teaching material is the first part from unit 8. The topic of this unit is I'd like some noodles. Students can learn many kinds of food and how to order food in this unit.It is related to students'daily life,so it is helpful to raise students'learning interests and improve their spoken English.Besides , this class is the first part ,So if the Ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the Ss learn the rest of this unit.
2.ANALYSIS OF THE STUDENTS
Then ,The Ss are from grade 7,they have achieved a certain English level and can understand some words and some simple sentences. They are easily activated and want to air their opinions about the topic.
They are familiar with the topic of food such as :fruit ,vegetable,meat; But they may not know how to express them in English before. Moreover, their vocabulary is limited so they may have difficulties in understanding some sentences.
三、 Learning objectives

The students will be able to understand and use the learned structures to communicate with others.
2.language knowledge
(1) they can also master the new words as follows:
model verb "would", noodle(s), beef, mutton, chichen, cabbage, potato(es),tomato(es),special, large, size, bowl,medieum ....
(2) They can also learn
The useful expressions:
A:What would you/he/she like?
B:I'd/He'd/She'd (I/he/she would ) like.....
A:What kind of noodles would you/he/she like?
B:I'd/He'd/She'd (I/He/She would) like....
A:What size bowl of noodles would you /he/she like?
B:I'd/He'd/She'd (I/He/She would ) like...
3.Affect
What’s more, they’ll concern themselves with the issues of being polite and servicing to others .
4. Cultural awareness
Ss will love our traditional food,strengthen their cultural identity.
5. Learning strategies.
Ss will cultivate their ability individual learning and cooperative learning by doing some activities independently and some in groups.Ss will communicate with each other in English while doing the group work.

1. Language focus
The focus of the listening and speaking is to cultivate the Ss’ listening and speaking skills,The many activities are designed to help Ss to train their speaking and listening skills.

五、Teaching method
Task-based method &
Communicative teaching method
Audio-visual teaching method
In this lesson I’ll mainly use “Communicative” teaching method, “Audio-visual” teaching method and “Task-based” teaching method. That is to say, I’ll give the Ss some tasks and arrange five kinds of activities: talking, guessing games, watching CAI, acting out Sample A and having a competition to let the Ss get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue.
六、Teaching aids
I will adopt the multimedia device, PPT document and blackboard to bring the real life situation into the classroom.
Teaching special features:
Let the Ss communicate with each other and adopt competition methods to develop the Ss’ keen interest in English.
七、Teaching procedure
In order to achieve these learning objectives, I design several activities for the four steps . So the teaching procedures are as follow:
First I’ll divide the Ss into four groups and bring a competition into the class. At last let’s see which group is the winner.
Step1 Warming-up an English song
Apple round, apple red.
Apple juicy, apple sweet.
Apple apple, I love you.
Apple sweet, I love to eat.
2.Have a free talk with the students.
T:What kind of fruit would you like?=What kind of fruit do you want?
ss:....
would like=want; I would=I'd.
Different people has different favaorite food!
This aims to arouse the Ss interests and activate their old knowledge about the topic.
Step 2 Presetation
Show the students a true situation.I have a new noodle house and need some cooks and waiters. Would you like to work in my noodles house?(Do you want to work in my noodles house?) If you do,you must pass three tests.would you want to try?
1.Present the new words of vegetables/meat/food and meat in the dialogue.
A:What kind of vegetables/meat /food would you like?
B:I'd/I would like...
2.Check the new words by a memory challenge.
3.Learn some specials by answering What kind of noodles can you make?
and In my noodles house,We have three specials,then drill the sentences:
What kind of noodles would you like?
I'd/would like ...
4.a guessing game to learn the following sentence:
What size bowl of noodles would you like?
I'd/would like a ...bowl of noodles.
This aims to create the situation to make the sample a much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings and new expressions.
Step 3 listen -drill-practice
Show students another true situation,If you want to be a waiter or waitress in my restaurant, you must pass the following three test.
1.listen and do 1b -2b in Ss'book to check their listening.
2.Train to learn and make their own dialogue.
3.Show three true situations between customers and the waiter and practice a dialogue in pairs.
This aims to develop listening ability ,the Ss’ ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained
Step4 Ask and answer
Show the students the last test. By talking about what kind of food their mother likes, what kind of noodles their mother would like and if they would like to make a bowl of noodles for their mother, I want the students to learn to thank others and service to others.
This aims is to check the knowledge Ss have learned in this lesson.
Step5 Homework
(1)Make a dialogue according to Sample A and write it in the exercise book.
(2)Surf the Internet and learn how to cook noodles , then cook a bowl of noodles for your mother.
This aim is to consolidate the knowledge they learned and learn to take care others.
