 6B Unit 6 Planning for the weekend Part A 第一课时

本单元主要围绕“周末活动计划”这一话题展开各项语言活动。所涉及的日常交际项目有介绍,打电话、询问和建议等,其中询问what are you going to do...?及We are doing to ...为重点内容。“周末活动计划”是学生乐于讨论的话题,语言的交际性和实用性也比较强烈。

在教学中句型操练要与学生的生活实际相结合,充分利用我们身边学生较为熟悉的活动,开展一些学习活动,使教学内容与学生生活紧密结合,以提高学生实际运用语言的能力。

二、教学内容: 6B Unit 6 A部分,Listen, read and say

三、教学目标:

1.能正确理解、掌握A部分会话,并能朗读、初步表演对话。

2.能正确地运用对话中出现的日常交际用语Is that Gao Shan? Yes, speaking.By the way, what are you going to do...?

3.初步掌握会话中出现的四会单词plan,have school。

4.情感目标:通过设计不同的语言学习任务,使学生在完成各项任务中体验、实践、参与、合作和交流,激发学生语言学习的兴趣,体验成功的喜悦。

5.能力目标:通过创设真实的语言交际情景,如:打电话、询问和建议等,让学生在情景中提高综合语言运用能力。

四、教学重点:

1.能熟练掌握单词和词组:plan, have school

2.能熟练运用日常交际用语:What are you going to do? I’m/We’re going to …. by the way

五、教学难点: 能在真实的情景中运用表达将要做某事的语言:I’m/We’re going to …

七、教学过程:

Step1:Warming up

1.Free talk:

  本单元的学习重点是对一般将来时的学习与运用。我先利用几个学生熟悉的句子进行自由对话,如what’s the weather like today? What day is it today?用这些学生耳熟能详的句子,学生能放松他们紧张的心情,使他们在一种轻松的氛围中上课。

T:What day is it today?

What date is it today?

What’s the weather like today?

What’s the weather like in Yan today ?...

2.sing a song:

学唱歌曲: Will you join me? 本歌曲是本单元的新内容,课前学习既可以营造学习英语的氛围,又可以为新知识的学习作铺垫。

Step2:Presentation and practice

1.通过《Will you join me?》歌曲引出本课主题Unit 6 Planning for the weekend.(板书)并领读,学习plan

2.PPT呈现教师本周的计划,让学生感受be going to 的用法。同时学习了see a Beijing Opera.为后面的教学做渗透。

教师顺时向学生提问By the way ,what are you going to do this weekend ? PPT呈现几幅图片以便于学生有话可说。

3.同桌练习

A:What are you going to do this weekend ?

B: I’m going to… By the way,what are you going to do this weekend?

A:I am going to ...

提供以下词组:fly kites play football play computer

go shopping go on an outing do housework

watch a film have a picnic grow flowers

4.PPT呈现Gao Shan ,David 的图片

(1)师问Who are they ? What are they talking about ?

让学生听课文前言在回答问题。教学中学习have school。

(2)T:Now we know they are talking about their plans for the weekend.But what are they going to do?

5.Watch the cartoon.让学生带着以下问题看动画并连线。

play the piano at the concert

play the violin at the concert.

see a Beijing opera

在学生回答为题时教授新词concert。

6.T: Great.Gao Shan is going to see a Beijing Opera with his dad and David.But when and where are they going to meet?

Read after the tape then fill in the blank.(朗读小贴士当我们在模仿录音跟读对话时,要仔细听录音,认真看文字,思考句子的含义,并注意语音、语调。)

(1)Gao Shan,his dad and are going to see a Beijing Opera on .

(2)They will meet at ____in front of Garden Theatre.

(3)Nancy is going to play the .

(4)Gao Shan will come to watch the concert with _______, ________and _________.

7.Read in roles. 分角色朗读课文。自由选择角色。

8.Read and jugde.

( 1 )David is going to see the Beijing opera with us.

( 2 )He is going to meet us at six in front of the

Garden Theatre.

( 3 )There is a concert in the school tomorrow.

( 4 )David is going to play the piano at the concert.

( 5) Nancy is going to play the violin at the concert.

Step3:Consolidation

1.进行情感教育精彩的计划是成功的开始。A good plan is a good start.

2.PPT呈现即将到来的劳动节,让学生以打电话形式为此节制定计划。可仿照以下形式:

A: Hello.

B: Hello. Is that …?

A: Yes, speaking.

B: What are you going to do on May Day?

A: I am going to … .Would you like to join me?

B: Yes, l’ d love to. /Of course.

A: Shall we meet+时间+地点。

B: OK.

3.学生在小组中交流,创设情景对话。

4.表演秀

Step4:Homework

1.Listen to the tape of Part A two times. Read the text correctly.

2.Interview your classmates or teachers,to know their plans for the weekend .

Step5:Blackboard design
