Hello, everyone! My name is XXX from High School. I’m very glad to share my lesson plan with you. I. Analysis of the teaching material and learners The learning material of this lesson comes from the workbook of Module 2, Unit 1, Cultural relics. There are three parts in this lesson: the first part is listening, the second part is speaking and the last part is writing. At the end of this class students are required to write an argumentative essay about cultural relics. The writing task may be difficult for the students because they are not familiar with argumentative writing. But students have learned a lot about the cultural relics in the previous periods and the reading and speaking material can provide some clues for the target writing. Both of them will lessen the difficulty of this lesson . The students are interested in the cultural relics and are easily motivated by pictures or videos. So with the video clip and the PPT documents as my teaching aids, I believe the lesson will be carried out smoothly.
