Ask and answer T:what’s the weather like in this picture ? S:It’s sunny T: what do you like doing on such a sunny day ? S:I like… T:Now everyone pay attentition to what I will say In fact.“what do you like doing in your spare time?”we can also say“what’s your hobby”so if I ask“what’s your hobby”,you can answer “I like/love/enjoy singing”,Now,I’ll ask some students about their hobbies Step2 Presentation 1、Ask some students to practise the following sentences: what’s your hobby ? —I like/enjoy/love… 2、show some pictures to the students . Ask and answer: T:what’s her hobby S :She likes flying kites(帮助学生说出flying kites这个生词,并且指出主语为第三人称单数时,谓语动语要用单数形式) 以此方法,引出生词短语:listen to music play chess, collect stamps, fishing,并要求学生跟读。 Step 3 consolidation 1、listen to the tape and finish Activity1-3 , and then check the answers 2、show some key sentences to the students what’s your hobby ? I like listening to music playing chess fishing playing computer games flying kites collecting stamps Step 4 Practice 1、Ask students to look at the small blackboard,then make up a new dialogue 2.Teacher will ask the students to act out the dialogue before the whole class Step5 Sum—up and Evaluation 1、 Group leader are asked to make the evaluation for other groups
