Lesson Twelve In the pond
一、Teaching contents： A rhyme ( Ten little duckings )
Ten little duckings,
Swimming here and there.
Heads are in the water,
Tails are in the air!
二、Teaching aims：
（1） Students are able to understand the meaning of duckings, swimming, heads, water,tails
（2） Students are able to understand the sentences“Ten little duckings are swimming in the river, they are so happy.”
（3） Students are able to act out the rhyme and say it in correct rhythm.
（4） Stimulate the students’interests in the rhyme and their eagerness to learn English.
