Step 1 Watch a video, then check the answers of Liu Xiang’s personal information.

Achievements in the 2004 Summer Olympic Games:
Gold medalist of the 110m hurdles event, equaling Colin Jackson’s 1993 world record of 12.91s in the same event.
His best record : 12.88s

In 2002, Liu Xiang won his first international prize. His record was 13.12 seconds in the 110m hurdles event.
2)What was his dream after winning the international prize in 2002?
He dreamed of having a chance to compete with the American hurdler Allen Johnson , one of the best athletes in the world then.

3)What is Liu Xiang’s biggest achievement since the 2004 Summer Olympic Games?
He set a new world record in Lausanne, Switzerland on July 11th, 2006. His time was 12.88 seconds.
