《shanghai world Expo》说课稿
一、内容(Contents)
1. 教材内容: 本课所涉及内容是谈论上海2010举办“世博会”的会徽,对课文的讲解有助于使学生们进一步了解将要发生在我们身边的大事。我把它归为德育教育内容,学生应该比较感兴趣。
2. 教学内容: 本课语法不是那么集中,语言点很分散:有定语从句、分词、词组等。我要做的就是把他们有机的联系起来,让学生们对某些语言点有个初步的了解,为以后的语法专项作铺垫。
二、目标
1.能力目标:发展学生分析能力,了解句子的基本机构,实现英语的进一步认识。
2.知识目标:
(1)了解定语从句,如关系代词that/which,限定性和非限定性定语从句
(2)现在分词与定语从句的关系
(3)短语,如:belong to, turn to
三、重点( Focal points)
1.结合已学知识点对新的语法现象加以说明。
2.掌握文章中的一些重点词汇和短语
3. 让学生初步认识英语的基本结构
四、难点(Difficult points)
1. 训练学生的阅读能力。
2. 掌握以下句子结构:
which is a perfect combination of the Chinese character…
that belongs to the whole world.
五、教法
1. 让学生找出课文中同一种现象的语法并加以分析
2. 帮助学生找出他们之间的关系
3. 翻译句子以提高学生对英语结构的进一步认识
4. 通过练习巩固所学知识
六、步骤
1. 将每个自然段要讲的内容向学生发问,要求他们作出解答,将他们不明白的地方通过PowerPoint/word 进行分步讲解
2. 通过提问或学生上台来表述检查他们所学语言点的掌握,再进一步提高
3.应用课堂练习和家庭作业来提高改进英语学习

Lesson objectives
1.Guide students to review the learned knowledge to identify what appear in the text
2.Make sure that students can find what are asked such as: attributive clauses, present participle, ie: …which is a perfect combination of the Chinese character…
…that belongs to the whole world.
3.Train students' ability of observing things, and describing a certain situation in detail.
Teaching aids: a multi-media computer, a recorder, word cards, etc.
Teaching procedure:
Step1 Directions: Ask students to find how many sentences are there in the paragraph one, and what kind of sentences they are and analyze the structure of them.

take place也不能用被动态的英文词组
Great changes have taken place in Shanghai in recent years.
Step2 Ask the students to list some the kind of v+ing. Paragraph 2/3
请找出这两段中加ing的动词,并尝试说明他们的语法功能,分别属于哪一类。

Step3 Then teacher presents the following sentences containing v+ing
§ (meaning the world)
§ …resembles three people embracing each other
§ Like a happy family living in harmony
§ …in pursuing a bright future and their passion for achieving sustainable development.
It doesn't matter if the Ss cannot give proper answers to all the questions. Teacher may give them a few minutes for discussion, so that they can talk about it.
Further discuss the use of attributive clauses:
meaning/embracing/living的逻辑主语分别是
a.“世” b. people c. family
…“世” which means the world
…three people who are embracing each other.
, like a family who are living in harmony.
Step4 And then turn the attributive clauses into simple sentences using v+ing structure
I have a brother who works in Beijing.
I have a brother working in Beijing.
I sat in a car that is running south.
I sat in a car running south.
Teacher's conclusion: knowledge can be better improved combined with what we have taught and what are going to be taught, as well as the passion of the students on condition that they can learn, to some degree, something they know more or less. Things can be better if what we are going to teach are well prepared. To the students, a sense of a little success is a good way on the journey to their goal.
