一、教材分析
本单元主要学习一般将来时的用法,和what、how引导的特殊疑问句的用法。围绕你将来打算做什么这一话题进行听、说、读、写训练。
二、学情分析
学生对于一般将来时的语法的学习有一定的基础,能够理解语法的使用环境,但对话题的讨论完成有一定的难度。他们有较强的求知欲和表现欲,应多给予鼓励与激发,提高学生的学习积极性。
三、设计思路
本单元复习设计了三个任务型活动:任务一是:复习本单元的单词并且通过听力,练习单词,同时复习篇章。任务二是:复习本单元的词组,并学会运用;任务三是:通过四人小组活动复习本单元语法,讨论未来的计划。
四、复习目标
1.知识目标:
1)掌握本单元单词、词组、重点句型
2)学会询问和谈论计划、打算将来要做的事情
2.技能目标:
能正确流利地用英语询问和谈论计划、打算将来要做的事情,并且乐于与同伴交流。
3.情感目标:
本单元谈论的话题是“我要学计算机科技”,学习内容贴近学生的生活。通过对将来的计划的互相询问和谈论能够了解全班同学的理想。督促学生做决心,并坚持执行。
五、复习重点:
1.重点短语:computer programmer; make resolutions;
make promises; at the beginning of the year; have to do with;

2.重点句型:
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be an engineer.
How are you going to do that?
I’m going to study math really hard.
Where are you going to work?
I’m going to move to Shanghai.
When are you going to start?
I’m going to start when I finish high school and college.

八、教学过程
Step 1 Lead in
Listen to the song “I want to be a king”
设计意图:激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step 2 Revise the words.
Revise words and check some students then let the students finish the part in the revision paper.
设计意图: 让学生会读会写,反复练习,熟练掌握。
Listen to the tape and finish the blanks in the paper to improve the students’ ability of listening and language-using.
设计意图:通过听力的方式,提升学生的兴趣,锻炼学生听力,同时巩固本单元的篇章。强化单词的运用。
Step3 Revise the phrases.
Let the students finish the part in the revision paper. Then work in pairs to make sentences with some phrases.
设计意图:词组的掌握是考察的重点,词组的灵活应用是学生提高英语能力的关键。
Step4 Pair work
Ask students to make conversations according to the picture to use some phrases and the important sentences. Then do some exercises. Correct the answers.
设计意图:让学生从活动中复习词组,反复运用。同时加强重点句子的灵活运用能力。
Step5 Group work
Let the students work in groups and talk about “what are you going to be” and “your resolutions”, and then make a report.
设计意图:在小组活动中,让学生运用语法、词组。提高学生运用能力和学习兴趣。
Step6 Summary
Let the students make a summary first, and then the teacher adds something important. And do some exercises.
1.You can make a (week) plan for schoolwork.
2. He is going to keep on (play) the piano.
3. After school, the students practice (play) basketball.
4. I (take) acting lessons tomorrow.
5. Can I ask you a (person) question?
设计意图:让学生学有所思,有所收获学生自谈收获,教师最后进行系统的归纳总结,强调突出重点。及时练习巩固,学生记忆牢固。
Step7 Homework
Group A、B: Remember the key phrases and sentences
Group A: Write an essay about your resolutions (more than six sentences)
设计意图:适当的作业让学生巩固提高,作业异步,有针对性的提高与巩固不同学生的能力。
