教学内容:
PEP五年级下册第二单元第一课时(教材16页)
课题说明:
本课的教学内容要求学生掌握四会单词season,spring,summer,fall 及 winter,并能用句型What’s your favourite season?Spring.和 What’s the weather like in spring?It’s warm.做出相应的回答以及各种信息的替换和交流,进行真实的交际。
课时说明:
本案例是第二单元的第一课时,学生在前面已学过warm, hot ,cool及 cold单词的用法.因此,这节课的教学任务是在学习新知识的基础上,利用和拓展所学的旧知识,真正达到学以致用。
教学目标与要求:
1、能够听说读写单词:season, spring, summer, fall, winter.
2、能够使用句型:“What’s your favourite season?”提问,并能够根据实际情况回答。
3、能够听懂、说唱Let’s chant部分的歌谣。
教学重点、难点分析:
1、本课时的教学重点是正确书写五个单词并运用句型:“What’s your favourite season?”It’s……进行回答。
2、本课时的教学难点是听、说、读、写单词spring, summer, fall, winter, season.
课前准备:
1、教师准备春夏秋冬各季节的单词卡片。
2、教师准备有关不同天气情况的图片。
3、多媒体课件。
教学过程:
Step1:Organization and warm-up:
A: Greetings.
B: Sing a song:春天在哪里。
Step2: Preview:
T: What’s the weather like ?
S: pair work about the structure: ”What’s the weather like today? It is…”
Step3: Presentation:
Let’s learn
1. T :How many seasons are there in a year?
S:There are four.
2.T show the word card: season, spring. How to read the words and describe the weather in spring . Exp: Spring is warm .
3.T acts like very hot . S guess what season is it . Then T show the word card Summer。
---- T:“What’s the weather like in summer?”
---S: it’s hot, very hot.
4.T show the word card fall and winter.
T asks the weather about this season.
5.Ask and answer: What’s your favourite season?
Step4: Do games:
Game1:心有灵犀
老师出示天气的图片,学生说出相应的季节,看看谁和老师心有灵犀。
Game2:“哈哈”
请一名学生从两个盒子里各抽取一张纸条,连起来说一个句子。如果这个句子符合事实,如:Sping is warm.其他学生则重复说warm warm warm.如果不符合事实,如:Summer is cold.其他学生则‘哈哈’大笑说:Hahaha,so funny!
A.出示句型

☆What’s the weather like in spring?
It’s warm.
B.学生观看四季图片,练习句型。
Game3:接力赛
全体同学一个接着一个练习说句型。
Step5:Practice
1.把下面的英文和相应的汉语连接起来

4. Winter D.季节
5. Summer E.冬天
2.连词成句。

Step7:Let’s chant
Students rap songs:
Sping is green with flowers and songs.
Summer is hot and the days are long.
Fall is golden and farmers are busy.
Winter is white and the year is gone.
