Unit3 What are you doing for vacation?教学设计

I.Teaching content
Section A 2a-Grammar
II.The Analysis of the Teaching Materials
The topic of this unit is about vacation plans. This is an interesting topic for students. All activities can give students listening, speaking and writing practice in Section A(2a-Grammar). These activities can help students improve their integrating skills.
III.The Analysis of Students
Listening and speaking skills are important in this period. That is difficult for my students, but students in No.5 Middle School must be better than my students.
IV. Teaching Design
In this period, listening is connected closely with speaking. Show some pictures to practice target language. To lead students naturally into the language environment. That is the first task of lesson, and to pave the way for the second task. This activity can improve students’ listening skill. Then have students practice using information in activity 2a,2b. May be students talk sbout their vacation plans. Groupwork of four students, ask and answer qustions, then write down your partners’ plans. Invite one student from every group to report their the results of the survey. I ask students to read sentences in grammar focus, then sum up knowledge points.
The last task is exercise. I show out a writing about National Day’ s plan. Ask students to fill in the blank with correct form.

1. Invite students to read the names of people.

2. Play the recording, teacher speaks out listening damands.
T: I ‘ll play the recording for the three times. For the first time, you only listen, then talk about the information to the class. For the second time, you should listen carefully ,then write down the answers. For the third time, repeat answers.

1) 现在进行时“be+v. ing”可用来表示一个在最近按计划或安排要进行的动作。

2) “ be going to +v.原形 表示主观打算去做某事,表示‘人’打算,计划,决定要做的事。
Eg. They ‘re going to travel in China.

This class we’ve done guided listening and writing exercises. And we ‘ve learnt grammar rules. Go out to camping with your family in your spare time. Learn to relax ourselves.
