I’m very happy to be here sharing my lesson design with you. The content of my lesson is Part B Let’s learn from《PEP PRIMARY ENGLISH》Book 5 Unit 5. ★About the students: The students are now in Grade 5. They have learned English for 2 years so far. Most of them are very interested in English, and can communicate with each other fluently using the sentence patterns they have learned. Least of them are afraid of English. They dare not open their mouths to speak English. During the classroom teaching, I’ll pay more attention to them. ★Teaching content: I’ll focus on the interest, purpose, authenticity, diversity and evaluation of the activities while designing this lesson and try to enable every student to master the new words and the basic sentence patterns to be learned in this period. This lesson is the fourth period of Unit 5. In this unit, the students should know how to descbibe their new rooms using the words and the sentence patterns they are to learn.
