微课用途 学情分析:
在平常的教学中,我们发现学生在学习身体部位这一内容时,经常将head和hand这两个单词混淆。
① 两个单词的字母结构非常接近,都由四个字母组成,首尾字母都是h和d;
② 两个单词的发音非常相近,对于初次接触英语的三年级学生来说,难以区分。作为一个难点与重点,head与hand经常作为一个考点出现在试卷中。在检测
中,我们也经常发现因为这两个单词而丢分的现象时常存在。
教学现况:
很多教师为了突破这一重点和难点,往往需要花费很多的时间与精力,甚至需要不断重复,花好几节课的时间去不断操练巩固,即使如此,教学效果也不尽人意。英语教师的教学任务又比较重,大部分都需要承担4个班的课务量。所以,突破这一难点,教师可能要重复N*4倍的时间与精力。
基于以上学情与教学现况,我制作了这个微课,帮助学生准确区分“head”和“hand”,并希望以此能减轻教师的教学任务与教学负担。
教 学 设 计
教学
目标 通过本微课,学生能在音、形、义三个维度上,正确区分head 和hand,并能根据指令做以下动作:Nod your head, yes, yes, yes. Shake your head, no, no, no.
Clap, clap, clap, clap your hands. Shake, shake, shake, shake your hands.

Step 1: Lead –in
1. Enjoy a cartoon.
MV 《Big head son and small head father》 Hello, welcome to English class. Today we are going to learn two words: head, hand.
First let’s watch a cartoon.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Teach “ head”
① Introduce “Big head son and small head father”.


② Listen and repeat.

③Let‘s do.


2. Teach “hand”
① Introduce the son‘s small hands and the father’s big hands.


② Listen and repeat.


③Compare “head” with “hand”.


④Let’s do.

Do you like it? It’s a popular cartoon. Big head son and small head father.
The son has a big head. The father has a small head.

Can you read this word?
Let’s listen and repeat.
Good. Let’s chant and do with the video together.
Great.

The son has a big head. The father has a small head.
Look at their hands. It’s a big hand. And it’s a small hand.

Let’s listen and read the word “hand”.
Look, n, n, n, /n/ /n/ /n/, hand, hand.
Class, follow me.
N, n, n … /n/ /n/ /n/…hand, hand…

Now can you read these two words?
When we read the word “head”, the mouth is small. When we read the word “hand”, open the mouth wide.
Have you got it?
OK! Let’s try again and repeat.
Better this time. You did a very good job.
