4、模块分析:本模块虽然只有一个核心句,即:There be 句型,而教材却是在两个话题情景中呈现和运用的。本单元通过描述一个地点,使学生理解掌握“There be”句型。通过本单元的学习,学生能够在真实的情景中运用语言描述客观存在。

Step 1 Warm up
1.Greetings
Step 2 Presentation:
1. show a pictureof Changhai Zoo. Try to guess “What animals are there?”
2. Show some animals
horse: 强调or的发音,并与house进行比较,用填空的形式进行拼写单词。_or_ _. It’s a horse.板书 a horse.
elephant: There are two big teeth. And there is a long nose. 学生猜测是一种什么动物。并在四线三格中写出 “ele”. 指出an elephant的用法。
tiger/lion: 听声音 “roar”学生可以猜测是老虎或是狮子。It’s a tiger. It’s a lion.

3. Here we can also say“There is a /an…”用此句型来描述动物园里有的动物。
学生会描述一种动物,就引导学生使用并列的两个句子。“There is a…And there is a …”
4. The zoo is so small. I want to enlarge it. 用魔棒将动物园变大。由一个动物变化成多个动物。How many…are there? There are …板书,并练习此句型。引导学生用”How many…are there?”进行提问。
5. 区分There is 和There are句型。伸出一只手指代表”There is” 伸出两个手指代表”There are”并进行反复练习。
6. 出示一个铅笔盒,进行练习巩固。不断用There is /There are来描述,使学生充分感知体验There is /There are的含义。
7. 设置Magic show的活动,将这些动物变化成石头,出示 stone animals.学说拼写单词,并纠正发音。
8. There is a famous place in China. There are many stone animals there. Do you know?
Step 3 New-teaching
1. It’s the Ming Tombs.介绍明十三陵。(CAI)show a picture of ming tomb.
请学生观察明十三陵
T: There are some stone animals.
2. Ss listen to the tape recorder,then answer questions: CAI
T: How many animals are there?
Ss: There are 24.
T: What animals are there?
Ss: There is ….
3. Open the books and listen to the tape, then underline the sentences.
Judge the sentences.

4. Check the answer and ask “Is it a real monster? It’s a scary animal.”
