Sentences: The children are having lunch in Lingling’s home. Say “please”. He’s very rude, Mummy. Do you want some more rice?

tape recorder, cards computer and TV.
Teaching steps:
Step 1: Greetings
T: Good morning, boys and girls!
Nice to see you again!
How’s it going?
Step 2: Presentation
CAI shows pictures of water, soup, vegetables, breakfast, lunch, dinner, pepper and salt.
Drill the words and phrases above.
Play a game: Listen and use the mouse to point to the right picture. (Have a match between boys and girls) T: I want some water/ soup/ vegetables/ pepper/ salt; I’m very hungry. I want have breakfast/ lunch/ dinner.
Ask a student to act being hungry. T asks him: Do you want some rice? S: Yes. Thank you. T: Do you want some more rice?
T acts to be very hungry. Let Ss try to ask: Do you want some rice/ dumplings/ buns/……? T answers: Yes, please. Thank you very much.
Step 3: Practice.
T: Open your books and listen to the tape.
Listen and understand and imitate;
Practice reading sentence by sentence.
Step 4: Performance.
Pair work or group work: Read the dialogues.
Act the dialogues without books.
Step 5: Let’s do some exercises on the workbook.

T asks some students to act, and then they ask other students to raise some questions.
