Basic aims
1.To use formulaic expressions to ask for the colors of the rainbows: What colour is it ?
2. Use adjectives (describe objects): It is red./The …is red.
 
Developing aims
 Try to use given text to describe the featured objects around themselves.

To let the kids feel the world is a rainbow for us to explore, try to use their eyes to find more color waiting outside their doors.

e.g. What color can you hear?
(Teacher may stick the colorful words on the blackboard.)

While-task procedure
1.      Tell the students   
Know about the rainbow and tell what color they can see with their eyes.

2.Point to the color and let the students try to talk about the color of the rainbow

(Tell students the rainbow is not only in the sky but also around us. They can use eyes to see a rainbow color of the world.)
3.Show some objects with
the color covered and ask:
1) Can you guess what is
under each color?
 
e.g. –What color is it?
     --It is red.
 --The bus is red.
 
4.      The world is a rainbow for
us to explore. Teacher may give the Rhyme of ‘’red’’
1) e.g.  Look at the dragon. What color is it? It is red. Red, red, red. The dragon is red.
  
2)Ask the students to say
According to the pictures
Look at the …. /What color is it?/It is…/The ….is ……
Read the word
“rainbow”
 
 
 
 
Ss work in pairs
to ask about the colors of rainbow
