技能要点:clearly write down an itinerary and discuss it with the tourist, including the quoted prices and services, etc.

Second, write or translate an itinerary;
Third, simulate the dialogues in a travel agency;

1) Students will be able to make a formal welcome speech to the tourists;
2) Students will be able to learn the procedure to meet the tourists at the airport appropriately;
3) Students will be able to give clear instruction about the itinerary in the hotel
实训场所:in the multimedia classroom and a hotel lobby
设备要求 : itinerary, flag of a travel agency, headphone

实训方法:simulate the situations

技能要点:1)make a warm welcome speech to the tourists including necessary elements;2) know clearly the procedure to meet the tourists at the airport;
3)Giving a clear instruction in the hotel, including all necessary information

注意事项(如安全等):When doing outdoor teaching, (practising in a hotel lobby), make the arrangement in advance. Make sure the saftey of the students. Get the permission of the hotel administration offfice.

 First, learn a sample welcome speech, highlight the necessary elements;
 Second, write a welcome speech.
 Third, present a welcome speech;
 Fourth, comments and feedback.
2)Meeting tourists at the airport
 Listen to the conversation;
 Discuss the procedures and useful expressions and sentence patterns;
 Simulate the converstation conducted at the airport
3) Giving instruction in at the hotel lobby
 Listen to the conversation; learn a sample speech conducted at the hotel by a tour guide, highlight the necessary elements;
 Discuss the procedures and useful expressions and sentence patterns;

实训方法:pair work and group work to simulate the situations

 Complete a hotel check-in procedure, meeting the professional requirements;
 Help the customer to make a reservation , giving clear introduction of the hotel rooms and facilities;
 Techniques to deal with the complaints

 Conducting a conversation in a restaurant according to different situations;

Do research in advance and let students prepare different menus

设备要求 : itinerary, flag of a travel agency, headphone; pictures and ppt of Xiamen and Gulangyu

实训方法: making presentations as a tour guide.

技能要点:1)make a clear introduction of Xiamen to the tourists including necessary elements;2) know clearly the procedure to lead the tourists sightseeing on Gulangyu;
3)Giving instruction as well as clear presentaiton of Gulangyu, including all important information
