一、Questions Elicitation
1. Who wears blue Jeans? Hands up, please.
2. Do you like wearing blue jeans?
3. Do you know how blue jeans become popular?

二、New Lesson
(一) Listen to the tape, the students follow the tape.
(二) Read the text freely, and read the text one by one.
(三) Answer the questions.
1. Why do we say we put on a piece of history when we put on blue jeans?
2. What kind of work did Levi Strauss do at that time? Make a guess.
3. Could you demonstrate why people felt uncomfortable when they were near the fire?
4. Why do young people like to follow pop or film stars in fashion?
