一、教学设计:
1、教材的地位与作用
本单元(Unit14)是初一上册相当重要的、也是比较难的一个单元。本单元的核心教学项目是“找寻物主”(Asking about ownership),与该项目相结合的内容是衣着(Clothes)。本单元是功能(Asking about ownership)、话题(Clothes)和语法项目(Possessive pronouns)的典型结合。
2、教材的重难点
(1)、以“whose”引导的特殊疑问句,及其它与“who’s”的区别。
(2)、名词性物主代词mine, yours, his, hers的初步使用。本单元第54课重在展示并训练核心教学项目—找寻物主,在句法上仅涉及单数,对名词性物主代词的全面学习安排在下一课,即第55课中。在第54课中学生只需掌握mine, yours, his, hers的初步使用就可以了。
二、教学目标
1、认知目标:
1) 词汇:yours, mine, hers, his, put on
2) 日常交际用语:Whose is this/that …? Is it yours?
3) 语法:
A.以“whose”引导的特殊疑问句。
B.物主代词:my/mine, you/yours, his/his, her/hers
2、能力目标:
4) 培养学生自主学习的能力。
5) 培养学生合作学习的能力。
三、教学流程
Step 1 Greeting
Step 2 Revision
1. Words competition
T: Today, we’re going to learn Unit14, Lesson54.
First, let’s revise some words. Now let’s have a words competition. Row Three, would you please? There are two words for each student.

2. Describing words
T: Good job! Then please say something about the English words. The more, the better. But do remember, say in English, not in Chinese. Do you understand?
Ss: Yes.
T: Group One, the word “pencil-box” is for you. Please.
……
T: Group Two, the word “blackboard” is for you. Please.
……
(小组成员能说几句就加几分,其他小组成员有补充的作为抢答加分。)
Step 3 Leading in
1. Pick up a pen.
T: Whose pen is this? Is it yours?
S1: Yes, it is.
Help him or her say“Yes, it’s mine.”
Repeat with several other students.
T: Whose pencil-box is this? It’s hers. (Pointing to the female owner.)

Step 4 Language study
1. Ss present the main points and questions they found in prevision.
T: Excellent! You’ve done a good job! Now open your books, turn to Page67. Please present the main points and your own questions.
Write down main points and questions on the Bb.

Step 5 Practice
1. Listen and imitate.
T: Please read after the tape. Pay attention to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.
2. Practise in threes.
将学生分成若干小组,每组三人,进行问答。在学生操练的时候,教师在学生中巡视,倾听学生的问答并给予适时的指导。
3. Act out.
每一组抽一个小组(三个学生)做对话,并评分。如果时间较紧的话就只抽查最快的那个小组。

1. Make new dialogues with your partners.
2. Finish off WB, L54 Exx-1, 2 & 3.
3. Review the main points of Lesson54.
4. Preview Lesson55.

四、课后反思
本课与传统的教学相比,有以下几个特点:
1、将评价引入课堂,引导学生在学习过程中进行自我评价,并根据需要调整自己的学习目标和学习策略。
2、Describing words 让学生用英语来描述单词,可以拓展学生的思维空间,让学生用英语想、用英语说,真正在“使用英语”。
3、注意师生间的情感交流,体现语言的交际功能。
这是我第一次借班上课,课堂上师生配合的默契不够。
