宾语从句的复习
[复习目标]
1、宾语从句的各种连词的用法。
2、宾语从句语序。
3、宾语从句时态。
[复习要点]
1、宾语从句是陈述句，连词用that，在口语中常可以省略。
e.g.He knows(that) Lucy comes from the U.S.A.
2、宾语从句是一般疑问句，用if或whether引导，表示“是否”，但从句必须使用陈述句的语序。e.g.I asked if/whether she would come the next day.但在句首或引导表语从句、同位语从句时，只能用whether.
Whether he will come or not has not been decided.
He doesn’t know whether that’s a fast train or not.
3、宾语从句是特殊疑问句，用疑问词引导，但从句必须使用陈述句的语序。
e.g. Could you tell us how long we’re going to be away?
Do you know where we can stay on the island?
Could you tell me how I can search the Internet.
He wanted to know what Lucy was.
4、宾语从句中主句与从句的时态变化。
①如果主句是一般现在时，从句可用所需的任何时态。
e.g.He says that he has been to the USA twice.
I know that he will go hiking tomorrow.
②如果主句是一般过去式，从句就要用过去式的某一种形式。
e.g.He asked who could clean the classroom
③但若从句陈述的是真理或客观规律，其谓语的时态用一般现在时。
e.g.He said that the sun goes down in the west.
[例题解析]
1、Do you know ?
A．What time will the plane leave
B．When the plane leaves
C．When would the plane leave
D．The plane will leave at what time
解析：宾语从句用陈述句的语序，故选B。
2、I don’t know if it tomorrow . If it ,we will go for a walk.
A．rains, doesn’t rain
B．will rain, doesn’t rain
C．will rain, will rain
D．rains, won’t rain
解析：第一个空格应填will rain 因为在宾语从句中，主句是一般现在时态，
从句看后面的tomorrow.
第二个空格应填doesn’t rain,意思为“如果不下雨，我们将去散步。”
在条件状语从句中，主句是将来时态，从句用一般现在时态。故选
B。
3、Could you tell me ?
A．Where lived he B．Where he lived
C．Where did he live D．Where he lives
解析：陈述句语序只有B、D主句中的Could表示委婉语气，不是过去式，
故选D。
[应用练习]
一、合并下列各句：
1、Jim hopes to be back soon.(He said ……)
He said that Jim hoped to be back soon.
2、Does your father work in that factory ?(Could you tell me)
Could you tell me if /whether your father works in that factory
3、It will snow tomorrow.(I’m afraid ……)
I’m afraid that it will snow tomorrow.
4、What is he doing ?(He wanted to know ……)
He wanted to know what he was doing.
5、Where do they live ? (She asked ……)
She asked where they lived.
二、在空白处填上适当的连接词，使句意通顺。
1、They don’t know if we will go there.
2、I asked when the class began.
3、I was really amazed at what I saw.
4、I don’t undersdand why he came late.
5、Do you know whose skirt it is ?
