2. Word meaning discrimination
late 可以做形容词和副词，意为“迟、晚”其比较级是later, 最高级是latest. I’m late for the meeting.
later有两个用法，1.可以作late 的比较级如：
I was five minutes later than yesterday.
2.later可以用作副词，独立在句子中作状语，意为“后来；稍后”如：See you later.

over here 意为“在这儿”；over there 意为“在那儿”

take sb. to a place意为“带某人去一个地方”句中take sb.
there表示“带某人去那儿”的意思，there是副词，前面不
用介词to如take sb. home，其中home为副词。
visit 表“参观、访问”，后面直接跟表示地方的名词；表
“看望”时后面跟人，相当于come to see sb.
