Hello,ladies and gentlemen!It’s my great honor here to make a speech.Today my topic is The Power of Love. Love sometimes don't need too much sweet words. Strict requirements is also another form of expression
First of all,I want to say something about my parents’ love.My parents are very strict with me.They have a lot of rules.I can’t watch TV.I can’t play computer games.I can’t go out with my friends.I can’t stay up too late.But I know they love me very much.I can understand them.I know their rules are good for me.I know they want to help me,I know they want to protect me.They want to make me healthy,smart,strong.They want to make me grow up to be a great person.So,I will follow their advice and do my best to make them pround. And never let them down.
Of course, classmates’ is also important for me.Two years ago,a boy gave me an important gift.It was a smile.
It was the early autumn of my first year at a middle school,and my old school was far away.As a result,no one knew who I was.I was very lonely,and afraid to speak to anyone.
Every time I heard the other students talking and laughing,I felt my heart break.I could’t talk with anyone about my problems.
Then one day,when my classmates were talking happily with their friends,I was sitting at my desk unhappily as usual.At that moment,a boy entered the classroom.I didn’t know who he was.He passed by me and then turned back.He looded at me,with a smile.
Suddenly,I felt the touch of something bright and friendly.It made me felt the touch of something bright and friendly.It made me feel happy and warm.That smile changed my life.I started to talk with other students and made friends.Day by day,I became closer to everyone in my class.The boy with the luck smile has become my best friend now.
One day I asked him why he had smiled,but he couldn’t remember doing so!
It doesn’t matter because all the dark days have gone.I believe that the world is what you think it is .So please smile to your parents,to your classmates,to your teachers,even to strangers.And they will smile back,then you can get the power frlm ther smile.
For many traditional Chinese,it’s not easy to say “I love you”,even to our parents.But let’s think back something,we always feel the love from people around us.Their love gives us strength to carry on.But we have never lt them our feel love.So from now on,let’s try to encourage each other every day.Then our life will be interesting,colorful and emtremely exciting!
