Don't Lose Heart
As soon as I turned on the TV, the screen showed a table tennis match. Ma Lin was against Liu Guoliang, who used to be the World Champion and win the first place in various matches. To my surprise, he had been beaten in the first two rounds. He was a great player after all. So he won the third round. However, he made such a lot of mistakes that he lost in the fourth round. He was defeated at last by Ma Ling.
Actually, Ma Ling did a better job than Liu Gualiang during the recent two years. The most honourable time of Liu had passed. He would fade from sight as time passed. Nobody could escape from the fate. But everyone shouldn't lose heart after it happened.
Live even if you will die tomorrow; work even if you will live forever.
The Suffering of Writing a composition
I have forgotten how long I had stared at the paper. I am touching its rough surface and looking at its black lines forming a strong cage which I have been put into and have no chance to escape from. The time passes by as usual. Oh, my God! It is not only a waste of time but also a foolish way I spend my limited life. But we usually have to do something that we don't want to do in our life. Therefore, I force my brain to work harder in order to write fully on the paper.
It is half an hour later that I complete this composition. How long it took! The marks of the reading comprehension must be zero if I spent the same time on the composition in the examination.
