1.教材处理 本课为译林版
《牛津高中英语》必修模块7第3单元Reading
(The Effects of the Internet on Our Lives)的内容。本课的话题是互联网带给人类生活带
来的影响,课文内容由两篇辩论性的演讲组成,分别代表正反两方观点,讨论了
互联网的利与弊。 笔者围绕课文主题,针对文体特点和学生的认知水平,安排了
3个教学步骤,旨在让学生通过本课学习增强阅读技能,加深对互联网的认识,在参与活动中提升语言的综合运用能力。
2.学情分析与教学目标
高二学生经过一年多的高中英语学习,已经具有一定的英语语言功底,部分
学生能够较为自如地表达自己对一些事物的观点;另一部分学生在掌握了一些关键词汇的基础上也能就一定话题发表自己独到的看法,学生之间的合作学习也有了发展。但由于我班的学生绝大部分来自农村,英语底子较薄弱。部分学生对于英语学习不主动,学习信心也不足。
基于对教材的理解与学情分析,本人将这节课的教学目标定位为: (1)知识上丰富学生与网络相关的词汇和表达,把握辩论文体的结构特点;(2)技能上训练学生通过听录音,阅读快速、有效地查找、转换和生成信息的能力;(3)情感上指导学生全面、正确地看待网络,自觉抵御其不良影响。(4)通过任务型教学模式,有效降低学生过高的英语学习焦虑,锻炼其听说读写技能。
3.教学重点 (1)熟练掌握表达网络用途和影响的词汇;(2)利用课文信息顺利完成各项任务; (3)自觉端正对网络的态度,正确、有效地使用网络。
三、教学设计
1.总体思路 针对本课教学目标和本班学生的语言基础,本课采取了3个主要教学步骤,
即:lead-in, reading comprehension, 和post-reading,以及一项课后作业(writing),按照步骤的要求设计了6个操作性强的学习任务,
涉及了大脑风暴、听力训练和略读、阅读判断、阅读选择、缺词填空、辩论赛等形式。教学步骤由浅入深、先感性后理性,突出阅读能力的培养,兼顾其它能力的发展,逐步提高对学生综合语言运用能力的要求。整个教学过程以学生为主体,以任务为驱动,学生增加了知识,激发了兴趣,降低了过高焦虑,提高了能力,升华了思想。

Stage 1. Lead-in
通过大屏幕显示“

自然引出Internet这一主题,随即开展
Task 1: Brainstorming。
通过问题What can we do on the Internet?(辅以图片资料),要求学生通过列单子总结网络用途。接着播放关于中国青少年网络成瘾的新闻报道,引导学生对问题
Does the Internet have any negative effects on us? What are they? 进行思考。
设计说明:该步骤以多媒体为手段,以问题为引导,自然、成功地将学生的注意力和学习兴趣转移到课文主题上来。所选的两段视频材料均贴近学生生活,学生通过声像资料能直接获得形象、生动的感性认识,从而为课文的理解和认识的深化奠定良好的心理和语言基础。

此项任务通过听力练习,训练了学生在听力中捕捉信息的能力,同时也使学生对文章的内容和结构有了整体的认识。

Stage 3: post-reading
Task 6: Debate Get the students to have a debate about the pros and cons of Internet use.

One represents the pros and the other represents the cons.You can make some changes or add your own opinions to the debate.
After three minutes of preparation, you will present your debates . Hold a competition between the groups. The one with the best debating skills wins.

五.教学反思
在新课程背景下,学生的角色发生了根本的变化,应由原来的被动听讲, 死记硬背变为主动参与; 自主学习;通过小组讨论、分工合作、信息检索、交流汇报等形式的活动,用英语去做事,最后呈现学习成果,创造性地完成学习任务,培养综合运用语言的能力。 英语教学要贴近实际。本课的内容The effects of the Internet on our lives所涉及的内容—网络对我们的生活造成的影响正是目前学生很关注的话题。而网络给我们所带来的影响是积极还是消极呢?这个问题众说纷纭,本来就是个开放性很大的话题。因此,在设计教学活动的时候,我设计了辩论(debate)这样一个活动,给了学生充分的空间去发表自己的观点。事实证明,还是比较成功的。由于有了课文内容的基础铺垫,学生在发表各自观点时,条清楚,论据充分并且正反双方均能及时抓住对方弱势,及时进行有力辩驳。在辩论的过程中,又恰好巩固了文章中我们学到的基本知识。但是,在活动中,我也发现一些有待改进的地方。由于我校学生基础普遍比较薄弱,在辩论中,明显发现词汇量不足这一劣势。而这一点,也在很大程度上制约了学生的临场发挥。因此,在以后的教学过程中,要在扩大词汇量上面多下工夫。此外,还是有部分同学胆子小,在今后的教学中,要进一步的加强以学生
