《Which season do you like best?》 教学案例
1、基本理念
《英语课程标准》强调关注学习兴趣,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,培养跨文化交际意识。努力为学生创设良好的语言环境,充分利用多媒体电化教学优势,使学生在愉快和自信的情绪中,充分发挥他们的想象力、创造力和实践力。培养学生的合作意识,使探究式学习和个性发展得到最大的体验,并培养学生的创新思维和创新能力。
2、整体设计思路
针对教材的特点和学生的特点,教师在设计课时本着“激趣、创新、应用、拓展”的原则做了如下尝试:其一,根据《基础教育课程改革纲要》和《英语课程标准》灵活处理教材。其二,充分利用多媒体和网络优势,优化课堂教学。其三,游戏、歌曲等帮助学生更好的理解,创设英语学习的环境。其四,充分利用和开发英语课程资源。采用任务型的教学途径,力求通过多样化的操练和游戏活动,创设空间,培养学生的兴趣和自主学习能力
3、教学内容分析
本节课——《Which season do you like best?》,是小学英语陕旅版第五册第6课第一课时的教学。该课主要是培养学生英语听、说能力和应用语言能力的课。教师为学生提供精心制作的多媒体教学课件,为学生提供了比课本更生动更真实更丰富的资源,更容易引起学生的兴趣,因此有助于培养学生观察、判断和推理事物的能力,也更容易激发与培养学生的想象力,使学生可以在生动活泼的氛围中进行创新思维,打破传统教学的束缚,培养学生自主学习、自我创新能力。
4、教学对象分析:五年级学生已经有了一定的英语基础,学生对季节这个话题很感兴趣,比较活跃,视野较宽,对网络和课件提供的大量图片非常感兴趣。
5、教学媒体的选择和运用:PPT课件。多媒体课件的采用,使知识呈现趣味、生动,贴近生活,提高学生的学习兴趣和学习效率,有助于学生思维的发展。
6、教学方法:采用全身活动法、反应法、小组和作学习法、任务组织教学,活动、贯穿始终,充分调动了学生学习积极性和主动性,培养了创新思维。
教学目标
(一)、语言知识目标
1、能听、说、读、写下列单词和短语:August 、September、 October 、model plane 、eat fruits、go roller-skating、 go climbing。
2 、熟练掌握句型:
(1)Which season do you like best?
(2)Why?
(3)I can fly a kite \go climbing \go roller-skating \fly a model plane \eat fruits.
3、能听懂句子:
(1)How many seasons in a year?
(2)What’s the weather like in spring \summer\autumn\winter?
(二)、语言技能目标:
培养学生的观察力、想象力、动手操作能力,发展学生综合运用语言的能力。
(三)、情感态度目标:
通过对天气的描述,培养热爱大自然的感情。通过各种活动培养对英语学习的兴趣。调动学习积极性,引导学生积极与他人合作,在活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识。
教学重难点
重点:四会单词和短语:August 、September、 October 、model plane 、eat fruits、go roller-skating、 go climbing的听说读写。
难点:熟练运用下列巨型:
(1)Which season do you like best?
(2)Why?
(3)I can fly a kite \go climbing \go roller-skating \fly a model plane \eat fruits。

Step 1.Warming-up
1.Greetings.
T:Hello,everyone.
S:Hello ,Miss Niu .
T:Glad to see you!
S:Glad tosee you ,too!
Welcome to English garden .Are you ready for English class?(Yes ,I’m ready!)OK!
(简单的英语问候,使学生自然地进入英语学习状态。)
2、Let’s chant:“Seasons!”
Today we have a lot of things to do.First Let’s chant.
Step 2:Review
Review what seasons we had learn.
T:The chant about seasons.How many seasons in a year?
Ss:Four seasons.
T:What are they ?
Ss:Spring .summer ,autumn and winter.
T:Great!Which season do you like ?
S1: I like…
T: Why?
S1:I can … in spring \summer\autumn\ winter.
(如果学生没有描述季节的气候特征,可以补充追问:What’s the weather like in …?并且引导学生说The weather is …)
Step 3:New presentation (I)
1.learn the new phrases: go climbing \go roller-skating \fly a model plane \eat fruits
T:Oh! I like…,too.But I like autumn! T: Show the picture of autumn and say:look! I like autumn best!Why?Beacouse autumn is a harvst season.We can eat many fruits in autumn(领读词组eat fruits)。
Ss:Reading.
T:We know the weather is cool in autumn.we can fly kites or fly a model plane and go climbing(领读词组fly a model plane and go climbing) .
Ss:Reading(跟读,分组读,齐读。)
T:Can we go skating in autumn ?No .But we can go roller-skating .It is skating on the ground,not on the ice.Can you go roller-skating ? (领读词组go roller-skating)。
Ss:Reading.
2.Drill
(1).listen ,look and say.
T:Great!We can do them in autumn .Can you say them? Let’s try!
师用课件抽样式的快速出示词组,让学生抢答词组.比比谁的反应快。这样,不仅大大的激发学生的表现欲望,而且轻松的巩固了新内容。
(2). Pair work .
Ask your friends :“What can you do in autumn?”(通过学习新词组以及小组活动 “What can you do in autumn?”的穿插来加深对单词的理解、运用。
3.Introduce: August and Sebember.
T:Autumn is so fun !When is autumn?(何时是秋季呢?) Is it autumn now ?(现在是秋季吗?)
Ss:Yes !
T: There are three months in autumn. They are August ,Sebember and October . Teaching them!
Ss: Reading.
Step 4: New presentation (II)
1.Learn the sentense: Which season do you like best? Why?
T:OK! August ,Sebember and October are in autumn. And the weather is cool.So I like autumn best. (“best” means favourite. Then I like autumn best!We can say :My favourite season is autumn.Cleaner?follow me领读单词及句型)。
T:Now I like autumn best. Which season do you like best?( To S1、 S2、)
S1:I like …best .
(和学生交流并板书句型,强调:If I ask which season do you like best? You may say I like …best .然后领读句型)
T:Now I like autumn best. Which season do you like best?
S2:I like …best .
T:Why ?
S2: I can fly kites \go climbing \go roller-skating \fly a model plane \eat fruits...
T:To S1、 S2、S3...
(出示四季的图片及四季相应的活动,与一位英语基础较好的同学展开以上对话,以此来引出本课难点Which season do you like best? I like …best .\ Why? I can … in spring \summer\autumn\ winter.

2. Pair work .
Ask your friends :“Which season do you like best? Why?” 让学生利用所学知识来展开对话,自由进行交谈。使学生在真实的语言环境中进行口语交际、角色表演。在学生表演的同时,师及时做出评价。来加深对新词组及巨型的理解、运用。
Step5、Listen and answers
listen to the radio and answer the qustions

2. Why ?
3.Which season does Li Dong like best?
4. Why ?
具体操作方法:首先出示Question 1 and 2,然后播放课文前半部分录音(两遍),听完录音后引导学生回答相关问题并出示答案。再出示Question 3and 4,然后用同样的方法处理。
(课件播放本课对话录音、培养学生良好的听的习惯,同时通过FLASH动画,促进学生视、听觉并用,有助于提高他们的听说能力及语言感知能力。)
Step 6: Consolidation and extension
1、Play Games. Guess : “Which season do I like?”
T:Let’s play a game! “Guess : Which season do I like?” 两人一组,一个人用尽量多的句子描述自己最喜欢的季节的特征,另一个人猜他喜欢的是哪个季节。Like this:
T:Who can help me?OK!You come here please!I like the season.It is warm and fine .I wear sweater in this season.The trees become green. And the beautiful flowers are bloom .I can go boating and fly kites.which season do I like best?
S1:Is it autumn?
T:No.it isn’s.Try again
S1:Is it spring?
T:Yes .You are ringt.It’s spring.I like spring best.do you like spring ,too.
S1: Yes ,I do/No, I don’t .
T: Which season do you like best?
S1:I like the season.It’s cold.I can make a snowman and go skating. Which season do I like?
T: Is it winter?
S1: Yes.It’s winter.I like winter best.
T:Great!Can you play the game?
Ss:Yes.

2.Do a survey.
让学生寻找自己的伙伴利用所学知识自由交谈,来完成下面的表格。
