【教材内容】
本模块主要学习如何表达自己的情感和感受。Unit1通过Amy 和Lingling的对话,呈现了基本句型“What’s the matter? Are you…?.”。Unit2 呈现了一个发生在昨天的故事,主要涉及如何使用过去时表达人的情感和感受。本模块题材为日常生活中的表情,围绕玲玲的表情感受展开,内容和情节都很符合这一年龄段学生的兴趣,语言简单易懂,非常有利于开展听、说、读、写方面的语言实践活动,让学生在使用语言的过程中学习语言,促使学生更有意识地自觉学习英语What‘s the matter ,Lingling? Are you sad?  No. Are you bored? No. Are you angry? Oh no. What’s the matter? Nothing, I’m thinking.
语言功能:表达自己的情感,通过他人的表情来猜测他人的情感。能根据图片或实际情况,询问他人感情的语句回答。
学习任务:What’s the matter? Are you sad? She was… 用第三人称的过去时来表示。
运用任务:灵活运用所学知识与他人交流自己的感受,以及用英语询问他人的情绪状况。用表示感情的词汇来讲述一个故事。
【教学目标】

2. 学生能听懂、会读、会说短语句型:1)Are you sad /bored/angry/happy

Lesson procedure:
I. Warm up
1. Sing song: If you are happy
2. Are you happy?   Yes, I am./ No, I’m not.
II. Presentation(呈现)
1. T: Who can dance gunman style?
P: I can.
T: I will give you a surprise present.
T: Here you are. Are you happy?
T: Why dose the boy so happy?
P: Because he has many presents.
2. Teacher shows another picture.
   T: The girl also has a present. But why is she so sad.
   Ps: Because there is nothing in the present box.
3. What’s matter with the girl/ boy?
Teach the words: angry, thirsty, hungry, scared, nervous, bored.
4. A game to practice:
A: Are you________________?
B: Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.
III. Text learning
1. Listen and answer the questions.
Q:What’s the matter with Lingling?

II. Presentation
1. Teacher shows the photo Zara.
T: Look, How was Zara? Happy? Sad? Bored?
 Listen to the tape.   Zara was __________.

2. PS read the passage and answer the following questions.
 What did she do at home?
 What did she eat when she was hungry?
