5. 让学生通过本课学习和课前搜集资料,了解万圣节的有关知识

Step 1 Greeting

Step2 Presentation and practice
1. Introduce Halloween
(1) Leading in
T: I have an apple. Do you like apples?
S: Yes, I do.
T: Can you eat it with your mouth? (小组比赛)
(2) T: It’s a famous game of Halloween.
Today we will learn a new lesson. Unit 4 Halloween (Read after T)
(3)(Music)Introduce Halloween.
(4)T: It’s very interesting. We’ll have a party. But what do we need?
(引出need并教授)
2. Teach: the new words and the sentences
(1)T: What do we need? (出示一系列万圣节所需的物品的图片)
Ss: (引导学生回答) We need some flowers.
The same way to review the words: some chocolate, sweets.
(2)T: What do we need? Ask me, please.
S: What do we need?
T: We need some pumpkins.(轻声告诉问的人)

3. Say a chant

4. Make a dialogue

5. Practice

a. Make a shopping list.
b. Make a dialogue in groups

Talk these with several students, then work in pairs, make the dialogue.
